How can I add FOC models on EAW?

I believe what 1upD and D803 are getting at is that you CAN NOT release this mod at all if you put FoC models in EaW. That is porting. Porting=illegal. -
Does anyone else here play the game Cyber Nations? For those that dont know, Cyber Nations is a nation building game that you choose where your nations going to be, its name, and how you will run it. Its pretty fun once you gain some strength, coolest part is the wars. You can buy soliders, fighters, bombers, missiles, tanks, and even nuclear weapons if you get strong enough. well.....there is that line on the IA2 homepage; "All work (including concepts, skins, models, and code) that is submitted to Imperial Assault becomes the property of Imperial Assault unless agreed upon with Edan or Bryant otherwise." so, I believe since it was made for IA2 then it belongs to IA2, unless you have permission/agreement from Bryant or Edan to use it otherwise.... which would also affect any other models for IA2 being used... -
bumpage I feel there is yet another bad point in the massive warlords conversions.... So if someone did a mass warlords conversion including all (or most) of the models in warlords, the big mod teams get screwed over. For Example, LoW spends a lot of time modelling, skinning, perfecting, etc. their models, and then a mass conversion of Warlords comes along and pretty much makes the mod useless since the conversion includes a lot of (or most of) the new units this mod would have added initially. Then people leave the mod and flock to this mass conversion to get the new units they were waiting for in LoW for conversions of any quality. Most people in the community (modders or not.) will probably say they are happy with warlords models. They really dont see it through the mod teams eyes, which I can say both since I was once not on neither IA2 or DE, yet a person who used the Warlords models. At first I thought it was cool, new units an all. Then I just became bored. Seeing the same conversion over and over, just with slight differences. People cannot really say that its NOT the units in the mod, its the coding and other uniqueness. If it is, then why does that mod need the Warlords models? Couldnt they prove that without the use of the Warlords models??? Then once I joined the teams it made me realize that just cause these teams have members with skills, does not mean they just have it easy. Most teams are doing every unit on their own, they have to put all that time into a model and skin, whiling keeping the public interested in the mod so it doesnt die. Modellers im sure can sometimes see that there is no point in modelling something that is already modelled and converted, providing the laziness and lack of modelling skill.

The Warlords Models I'd Like To See Converted

umm, you seem to have max, you cant just learn to do it your self? :-\ unless you have max 7 which is incapable of Alo exporting... (not to sound rude or mean...) I mean its not that hard.... -
it appears all you did was add non-targetable and destroyable hardpoints onto existing bones, I pictured them being as two shots fired in unison..... edit, well its just copying existing hardpoints, making them non-targetable and destroyable, and then changing the Fire Points of the hardpoint so it appears one weapon fires from two places on the ship....

Those arent Keepers models, Warlords yet again........ :-\ Warlords mods just want to make the coolest and most new units in their mods, get their names out into the community, notice mods that use them usually get the most downloads. I can tell you all about it, I was one of them, now im not. Warlords are destructive, and if people dont realize it, they need to. That damage done is probably not fixable, but we can always hope. The remaining warlords mods should shut down, well even if they dont almost all of the warlords models have been used so there isnt a whole lot more new space units left to add so.... and for those who wonder why we have a shortage of modellers and skinners is that once warlords came along they wouldnt have to model or skin anything, just convert a model from warlords which is alot easier, which made people lazy. -
id release, we need some good XML based mods.

@Jedi_Consulor, you do know thats porting right? :-\ thought I do agree with you on only having only one death star II available though you could just make only one planet capable of having a level 6 station...

wow, works really well.. that bug where my ships wouldnt show up is gone, they are actually visible...
