Also, remember that Ackbar said that if they close to point blank, the Star Destroyers would annihalate them. The only reason they didn't is because they had explicit orders from the Emperor to stand down. Conclusion: The Imperials would have Easily won if the Emperor wasn't so prideful.

While it could be a problem EVENTUALLY, right now it's not that much of a problem. It's caused by an increase of wind and Chlorine in the air, and that's why people banned CFC's. The Chlorofluorocarbon's that we produced as sterilizers, fefrigerent, and fire retardent, are banned because people found that they were in the hole. The reason is because they don't react with many substances, but because of the special conditions of the Polar Vortex, they only deplete ozone there. And it only DEEPENS the hole for the 4 months it's there. The other months, the ozone is the same as it is everywhere else.

NOt really. It's very complicated, but there's only an ozone hole for 4 months, and that's during the dark season and ONLY effects the center of the continent where nothing can live. The ice re-freezes during the dark month, and only melts in the warm area. There's not really anything to worry about with Global Warming and Ozone depletion. I haven't looked at anything about the skin cancer stuff yet...but Once I find out about it, if I can get any proof against it, I can disprove it once and for all.
