As many of you know, there is a book called Sun Tzu's Art of War. This book tells you everything you would ever need to know about war strategy, and while it is written in old times when chariots were high-tech, Just a small mental upgrading of the context could give you everything you want to know. Of course, it's only really good against human players =P "All warfare is based on deception. When able to attack, seem unable, when using our forces, we must seem inactive, when we are near the enemy, we must seem far off, when far away, we must seem that we are near. Hold out baits to deceive the enemy, feign disorder, and crush him. If he is secure at all points, be prepared for him, if he is of superior strength, evade him. I highly suggest you check it out, it's good for any RTS game.

Warning! This post contains an idea from Mikan! Those with weak constitutions might wish to leave the death pit. First off, Make it so the games are grouped by genre, not by whatever the heck we feel like it. *thanks relentless* Next, instead of just deciding on all the games, vote for them. Get a long list, and have people vote for whatever the ones they want in. You'd have to come up with some buffers for that, but this should be a democracy, not a tyranny. Some ideas for games would be... 1upD, don't confuse other people jsut because you can't have what your want. Regardless of what you say, it IS rude and it is annoying. To convert a max model, you need 3dsMax 6 or 8, and you need the Max2Alo plugin that can be found with the map editor. For a full guide, try here.

But guys, I joined up this year! That has to count for something right?! *shot for having an ego* Overall, it would probably have to be a neutral year altogether, but the outcome is bad. We started out amazing for a little over half a year....then we died. It happened sudden and swift, we just died. I personally think petroglyph forums shouldn't have been made, but that's just me cause no one likes me over there. I say, if we don't do something soon, we could end up loosing everyone and only getting one post every day. you know, do something fun. For starters, ressurect the PFF clan! We all play games, and most of us play online, so tell people about it. I know Substance and a few others play guild wars, and I play Ryzom, so come on people, do something! Well, there is a tool out there for 3ds Max (texporter, I think. I'm not good with stuff like that) that exports the UV Map as a JPg or BMP. All you'd have to do is re-skin the skin. If you think it might be too hard, maybe Yodaminch could do it? I dunno, but we should worry about that when we actually have something to skin on =P If htings don't work out with your model, we can do it that way. I always thought Dengar's armor looked familiar....

Alright. Here's another brilliant idea from the think-tank. How bout a mod for the community that adds in all the known bounty of this time period that aren't in the game, and re-tools the current bounty hunters based on their known level of prowess (for instance, Boba Fett will be a killing machine, and I know it's not balanced if he is) and, if it's possible, re-tool the bounty hunter system so any faction can hire them. The list is: (tell me if I'm missing any, cause I can't think right now) Zukuss 4-LOM Dengar Boussh (The Person Leia impersonates) Greedo ( I know he's supposed to be dead, but this is an alternate universe, no?) It's a short list, and I know I'm missing people, but still. If anyone is interested, we need: A modelor *glares at Bex* A skinner *glares at 1upD* A coder * I can help with this, but I have better things to do......or not. I'm just addicted to Ryzom, kay?* So, yeah. DISCUSS!

For the record, we haven't TRIED yet. I'm part of an elite group that's come to earth to, you know, scout it out. Like Invader Zim. And, I can post stuff liek this because it's online, and no one believes anything posted on a forum =)
