  1. Well on the rebel side there is only the MC80a (winged Mon Cal). Though it is disputed as to whether it is actually an MC80a, MC80 or another variant altogether. Either way, there is only one Mon Cal in the game, plus Home One (which seems to be horribly undersized). Which is a pity, cause the game needs a little bit more diversity when it comes to ships I think. So that's a fair amount of Canon Mon Cal's that aren't in the game. Of course it is perhaps a mute point considering the fact that Mon Calamari didn't even side with the rebel's until after the Battle of Yavin...if memory serves.
  2. Not bad. I still think the Nav-comp one is about as diffinative as it gets...it shows around 300. There are also inserts, which I didn't post, showing the position of Corulag and Chandrila plus more detail on the Corellia Sector and 2 others. FYI Corulag and Chandrila are located in insert 1 next to Anaxes. Kingdark: Well that would be interesting and I do believe it is possible to make 2 factions friendly. It would be good from a Rebel point of view, if you made the win objective the wiping out of Palpatine's faction and the death of the emperor, rather than that of the Empire, so you have to battle your way into Corusant. But then that's somewhat the same as the standard Conquest objective and then there would be no need to capture many planets unless you needed the cash. All it would take is a large enough force to wipe out the smaller faction. Galactic AI being what it is, I'm not sure it would work out at being all that compeling, though with a decent AI/realism mod it could become workable.
  3. It's just a guess, but it's possible tactical health is the sum of the shield and hardpoint health.
  4. An interesting idea, but what would be the point given the fact that Palpatine is the head of the Galactic Empire?
  5. I have a rather detailed map that I downloaded from somewhere...nav-comp perhaps. It has a few hundred star systems to choose from and is even good enough to have a placement for Mandalore and Rakata prime as well as the major trade routes. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c196/Prophion/galaxymap.jpg
  6. Yeah no problem there, it's just that the Unknown Regions can end up being a great empty area on the left side of the galactic map, so I was just wondering how the new galactic map was going to be treated.
  7. I agree with reducing the galactic planet scale...with 80 or so planets it's quite necessary. Any idea how your going to handle the unknown regions? Cause Zaarins base of operations was out in that area.
  8. Yeah it does, doesn't it. Of course that list is far from exaustive. There's at least the: MC40a MC80 MC80a MC80b MC90 plus many other as yet unnamed ships Most of them were only developed post Endor, so they would really only fit into a New Republic/Imperial Remnant mod. Or Yuuzhan Vong perhaps.
  9. Sweet...Knowledge is power.
  10. There is some good info on Zaarin at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zaarin . It seems his main advantage was the use of advanced fighters like the defender.
  11. Maybe it was just the cut scene...but the battle it the starforge didn't look that big. Mostly I would guess because much of the rebuplic fleet was destroyed at Malechor V. I imagine the battles of The Sith War would be much bigger than those of the Mandalorian Wars or the Jedi Civil War. Of course, I've never read any of the comics, so I can't be sure.
  12. Yeah, one on one a turbolaser tower will take out an AT-AT. Rocket troops do a good job against them and speeders own them. Using Bryant/Ghosts mod I took out 6 invading AT-AT's with their support units using a concerted defense.
  13. Yeah, bryants and ghost's is the one I use...with a self modded in Ackbar and Piet.
  14. Yeah, your right. In the dev chat it was stated that orbital bombardment was possible. On another note...what's the 'place beacon' used for? You could try to tie a bombardment into the beacon signal.
