in my opinion when something is sucked into a black hole it becomes part of it. The reasons for this is because of the nature of black holes, first you have to know where they came from, they are collapsed stars with an enormous weight in a very small spot making the density huge, which in turn makes the gravitational force of the black hole huge. With the equation ac=GMm/R2 we see that, with the gravitaional constant about 6.67X10-11, the gravitation is huge, things get pulled to it at immense rates and in turn are crushed into it and become part of it making the mass even large which further increases the gravitaion, it doesn't stop until it has sucked in everything in the galaxy, but that takes a couple hundred billion years to do that is my belief on the matter
