  1. The largest planets have ten building slots.
  2. 3-4 hours, I have a life.
  3. Planet hopping is impossible. Every neutral planet will be defended by at least pirates. Or so I've heard. I'll go with a combination of quick pirate planet conquering and build up. Since I'll most likely play as the rebels, I think a few build up planets like Alderaan and Mon Calamari will do.
  4. Like the golden letters. 9/10
  5. Yeah, fighters, but not cap ships.
  6. Gamespot hasn't rated EaW. It hasn't even rated BfME. The top10-list on the main page represent which games have the freshest info released.
  7. Priceless.
  8. I'll wait for Gamespot's review, they're the most reliable site and they have the best ranking system.
  9. YTMND rocks!
  10. Sorry if my post was unclear in some way, what I meant was that I'm not a fan of anime, but I somewhat like the drawing style. I'm not picking on anything...
  11. EU said that, so the movies are wrong? Oh please. The movie was great, almost on par with the OT.
  12. Well...then....they crack the armor... in an unnoticeable way... ;D I like the one-shot ability.
  13. Yes, this is where the company originally started. Now its runned in Japan and in Helsinki. (Finnish capital) Looking at the posts I think there is a way to break the lock. IF you can drag your ground forces into the enemy-controlled space, and you have a Hypervelocity gun on the planet, this lock can be broken.
  14. There's nothing wrong with imagination, I just prefer imagining the post episode 6 events myself rather than reading somebody's insane books that dont even feel like Star Wars. If someone can name a book series that doesn't involve anything listed below and is good anyway, then dont hesitate to post: 1. Absolutely no main character cloning 2. Absolutely no new super weapons, a new DS is tolerateable. 3. Absolutely no stupid armies or fleets (like a fleet of one billion SSDs or a ground army of one kazillion AT-ATs) 4. No epic Jedi-Sith wars, not too many Jedi or Sith. 5. Nothing idiotic like Chewbacca eating Han Solo's head. If those conditions are met, I just might, MIGHT look into an EU book. You're right, Leto, the Star Wars universe is better than the one we live in.
  15. I'm not keen on Anime mostly because the already mentioned stupid-looking noses and unnatural facial expressions, but playing games like Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance has shown me that the Anime/Manga/whatever drawing style can be pretty when used correctly. I mean more realistic looking faces, mostly.
  16. First of all, a "surrender"-option would wreck the multiplayer. Everyone would just quit if they lose the first battle. Interesting deadlock you discovered. This is why you should be able to garrison space units on the ground. I cant think of any other way to break this lock.
  17. If you want Death Star cannon equipped Star Destroyers, weird suddenly appearing super-races and endless main character cloning as a part of SW, then I understand why you're so keen on EU. I just think its complete bullcrap.
  18. My theory is that the impact the AT-AT's head suffers when it trips causes the shields to go down.
  19. Yeah, there really hasn't been any discussion about this, and I've been wondering too. My best guess would be that they can be called down for bombing runs too, but they'll use lasers. Edit: They're not fake pics judging on the sites that have hosted them.
  20. Damn Olympics. Why, you ask? The Olympics are a fine sports event, you say. The biggest sport here in Finland is hockey. So, as hockey is a part of the Olympics we should be happy. But no. Due to a number of injuries, our team has lost its three best goalies, and one of them is one of the best in the game, Miikka Kiprusoff. And as if that wasn't enough, we've lost two great wingers, Sami Kapanen and Tuomo Ruutu, and two great defensemen, Ossi Väänänen and Joni Pitkänen. Savor your gold, my Canadian friends, for it will soon be stripped from you... in the next Olympics.
  21. Wow Fosh, you dont mind if I borrow some names from your list when the game comes out? You can keep the Foshcruiser but the others are good, and you can never have too many names.
  22. The point of the DS is to get rid of planets you dont really benefit from, but to the enemy they are vital. Take Alderaan for example: Imperial base size is highly limited there since the people hate the Imperium, whereas the rebels have no limitations whatsoever. Why not just blow it up istead of keeping it as a liability? Not to mention that it would be a powerful planet for the Rebels.
  23. An Interdictor called The Tentacle would be ok.
  24. There's your diplomacy right there. Imagine a 4 player skirmish, the ones than align themselves with others and stab them in the back at the right moment will win.
  25. Yeah, and not only fiction, but fiction fiction. EU aint even real Star Wars.
