  2. i agree i have not seen any bugs.. and ive played plenty of succesful multiplayer games.. .. id say about 50% work which is ok Considering .. this game is relatively bugless... .... *cough* Battlefield 2*cough*
  3. yeah ive tried.. the frist day we tried using gamespy.. no luck.. so we tried this.. it hink we got it to work 2 times

  6. clean ur CPU or video cards heatsink.. .. that would be my only explination .. since i have a laptop ive noticed that pattern when not clean it underclocks to coool.. then returns to normal.. overheats.. restarts cycle

  8. well i was thinking of using that system for ground units.... and have a miniumum game time.. but ok
  9. maybe we can do this.. after every battle the unit u have changes to the next unit in line.. should be a lot easier to do lets say.. u start with a recruit u win the battle../ he survives... if he makes it past the 1st battle.. he becomes a veteran in outerspace. (changes the unit to that type) .. and like that.. so after lets say 6 battles or so battles he is a fully trained hero unit

  11. they are i think..... map eidtor . confirmed.. LUA editor.. no clue.. maybe.. but i think so As far as a planet list.. we are only adding the planets from rebellion right.? or are we going beyond that?
  12. its possible.. it could be organized that way ive seen mods where they do that let me give u an example In generals we had Tank (code here) .. ect ect then we had Tank weapon in the same INI file then we had Tank particles ect ect.. we just have to let the game know where they are.. i guess what happens is it dumps all the text to memory.. then it looks through it.. the files u see are just for organization.. so its possible to do that

  14. i can code and model and skin.. not perfect.. but ive done it for generals
  15. i think troops should only come in cap ships if u buy a whole half armys worth. lets say a few at at's a few atst's afew companies of troops..
  16. i ordered mine of EB about a month and a half.. dont remember exactly.. its when the death starm orb came in. ill get mine shipped the 14th with overnight shipping
  17. the venator transport units will only have light shields and laser cannons.. still relying on other ships for protection.. the ship is stripped down to make room for more units
  18. i dont think they have their models.. i havnt checked if they have their code at all either

  20. U can put it on easy cant you? u can build mines on planets with starting incomes of 100+. and ive gotten a planet to give me 3k money
  21. why would it crash if u reloaded changed the xml while in a game.... it should detect the changes.. and if it asks ..then there is no reason to crash unless the code is wrong.. maybe it just doesnt check... i guess to stop cheating.. ... so crash :/ but what i would love to see.. is maybe a map editor where u can test out a new unit u made.. and tweak teh code for it at the same time.

  23. i was thinking about this a lot .. i say .. its possible.. but .. sitting through a battle because ur in it. .might not be so fun :/ We could make it like skirmish multiplayer.. where both sides controll everything but with independant units.. er.. w/e. and on gallactic maybe allied.. but diferent stuff build ques ect.. i could see melee gallactic mode also but taht would definately require sitting out..for someone..

  25. .. indeed.i can run 1400x1050 in space battles..high 2x Aa but ground kills it for me so i can just take off AA or lower the rez a bit.. maybe something in th 1200x1000's.. not sure exact rez all high runnin on 2.6ghz P4 HT 1gb ram sb audigy 2zs Notebook and an MR 9600 pro :/
