  1. Fett is Imperial, because as we all know, he is a Clone. Anyway, about the bridges for the SSD and SD, what you saw was most likely Darth Vader on his flagship Star Destroyer as shown in Episode IV, the Avenger.
  2. I'd prefer to go with something along the lines of that COPS parody. Except that it's oriented in space. Imperial Pilot:"Yeah, we do this 'cos it feels good keeping the order against those filthy Rebels...they always try to upsurp the Emperor everywhere they can, and we're here to put a stop to that. *hawks a loogie, then spits*" ...yeah.
  3. I've noticed that what was created in the Star Wars: EAW second trailer, it had immense machinima potential as a game platform for filmmaking. www.machinima.com If some of you don't know, Machinima is filmmaking within game platforms (either through mods or the base game itself). If EaW is going to release with tools that would allow us to "pre-script" events and camera action and pull off what was done in this new trailer, then Star Wars: Empire at War would truly appeal to many people in the creative communities. I for one, would LOVE to create a fictional Star Wars series about an Imperial Fleet's exploits against the Rebel Alliance...Hmmm. Sounds good, ne? Signed, NightmareKato
  4. And I'm older than you. Flying through hyperspace ain't like dusting crops, boy.
  5. It's a post-Endor design. Don't start making wishes that won't come true, kid.
  6. Regarding the interdictors, there are two interdictor makes from the Empire, the in-development stage before/after Yavin, where the forecastle is more differently built (single bridge-like) while the second make ended up having a structure that looked as if it has two bridges on top. I'll give you an example in a few moments. Here it is. The interdictor on the left is the Dominator-Class Interdictor, while the puny "older brother" of it is the Immobilizer-Class Interdictor. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v520/Kato_Arabel/EmpireAtWar/interdictors.jpg What's so obvious is that the Dominator was designed with slugging in mind to reduce the need for an escort, which is something that its little cousin has always needed. In X-Wing Alliance, with all stats on both at realistic parameters for their class, I pitted both against each other as shown in the picture. Guess who won? Dominator. The Immobilizer died in less than one minute under a full barrage. This should tell you what category the Immobilizer-class Interdictor is in. That's right, it's a freaking CRUISER. Not a capital ship like the VSDII or Impstar Deuce. The Dominator is DEFINITELY a capital ship, think of it as a Victory Deuce with larger gravity well generators strapped on. And yes, the one you see on the right is going to be in EaW, according to the screenshots. Don't start dreaming about Dominator's yet, they were developed around the Battle of Endor, I believe, so they weren't commissioned into common service. Aaand, Paddywhack, the best Imperial/Imperator-Class Star Destroyer in service at the time of the Battle of Yavin would have to be the Imperator II-Class Star Destroyer, or in Reb-speak, Impstar Deuce. And Impstar Deuces aren't available in EaW.
  7. Usually they're part of a system. Remember Dark Nest I, Leia Organa Solo and Han Solo stumbled across an uncharted region with a large planetary nebula - over 12 inhabitable planets in that area. So yes, a nebula could be part of a system, or region. Plus you can fly into nebulas in Star Wars Galaxies. But those are usually of a smaller scale, and are used as "cover".
  8. I'm starting as the Empire, to test my variations of tactics that were derived from Grand Admiral Thrawn's campaign. The Rebels shall be crushed...without even needing the Death Star.
  9. First thing I would NOT do is blow up Alderaan....Coruscant would be a more fitting example...buahahahhaa....
  10. If an Interdictor can jam missiles, then someone is seriously misinformed in Petroglyph.
