  7. When we set out to have this live chat, there was always going to be the chance that certain questions would not get answered - Lucasarts need to keep some surprises up their sleeves. Everyone question i had pre-submitted, ie from my forums and here, were asked in a private chat lobby I had set up. The ones that could be answered were selected, and that included questions being submitted live during the chat. The format we chose seems to work best. A Moderator posts the question, then one of the guests answers it. There is a lot of work going on behind the scenes (namely our private chat lobby) prior to a question being answered. It seems the fact you had problems connecting to the chat Jmaster isnt a reason to blame anyone. Its upto the owner of the PC to ensure that these things work in advance (ie, java script) and I learnt my lesson from my own problems the last time we tried to hold the chat, which, ran extremely smoothly. Here are the ones I will be asking from here Sparky You mentioned that it will be hard for either side to know where the enemy is...but can't you/opponent just look at the galactic map and see where the enemy planets are? Is it possible for planets to support the other side in secret? and will the game allow smuggling? Teradyn Can you describe how orbital bombardment will be handled? Do we direct fire down from capital ships based on their power, ISD massive (and/or frequent) with smaller ships providing weaker/less often barrages. What would prevent a sufficiently large orbiting fleet from being able to decimate the defending forces without the attacking ground forces having to be involved in the battle? FoshJedi2004 Are there set Fleet Formations that we can set the fleets to?? EG: Flanking/Hammer and Anvil Ghostly_Substance Is there a Ladder of some sort ? I read in one of those magazines that there would be a tournament thing Grd Admiral Thrawn 889 when can we expect unit information being released? DMUK

  16. With this in mind, I do suggest you also change what you have written on your website. Calling me incompetent is something i dont take likely. Having Petroglyph use the same IP is something we didnt know and we also didnt know if this would be an issue. The problem is with gamesurge limiting the amount of IP's - im sure if it was written somewhere I looked, I would have dealt with this. DMUK

  18. Firstly I would like to apologise to everyone who attended todays (Oct 27th) live chat with Petroglyph. Due to an unforeseen connection issue it has been decided to move the chat to a new date - Monday 7 November @ 7pm GMT (11am PST).   19. Basically, the problem was unforeseen. We did everything we can to host the chat, however - it seems Gamesurge have limits to connections from a single IP address. Normally, its an instant ban, which we got lifted straight away but they kept getting booted. However, steps have been taken to ensure that this wont happen again. DMUK

  22. The reason why the A-Wings etc are probably in the screenshots, is just to showcase some of the ships to the media and fans. For example, they placed a Rancor on Tatooine, just to show its use in the game. I would imagine the time line would have the A-Wing as a late developement unit DMUK
