I thought it only did go up to ANH, the hoth scene doesnt make sense, if the reasoning behind not putting the SSD in was that the game stopped at ANH, the Executor Class SSD is in ESB. I feel like im taking god damn crazy pills! lol

The lack of a Veterancy system doesnt bother me, i really didnt care one way or the other, now the lack of the SSD does bother, thats something that needs to be modded in and thanks to Juggernaut and his LoW Mod team well have some pretty awesome stuff.

Post up your reccommendations for good games to get for the holiday season. Hopefully this can help out everyone with their christmas, hannukah (i apologize for any mispellings), kwanza, and any other holidays you may celebrate.

I want to know what major advantages this game has over other AOE games and even other games in the genre. I have played the original i think. I remember it had like 20 different 'races' more like cultures i suppose but they were all pretty similar. What does this game have to offer that is gonna make me want to want it. I asked someone who had it but they couldnt give me a definitive answer. Christmas is coming up so i was thinking of putting it on my christmas list, but i really dont see the major highlights of the game, my thanks to anyone who can help me out.

You mean money short? Well i know how you feel, i think is ridiculous how much they are charging for the XBOX 360 fully loaded and everything - $400 thats freaking insane. Things used to be 100, then 200, i was ok with that but 300 was a bit pricey, but ive had the PS2 and XBOX for years and i love em. Now they are making $400 dollar systems! insane, i can list off of the top of my head 10 things to beter spend 400 on. Anyway BF2 awesome game, im getting a bit better too

What I was thinking I was under the impression this is how they were doing it. It makes the most sense to me. This is how it worked in Rebellion at least, you couldnt move on until you were done with your battling.

Lol i know, when i started here they were 1000 post ahead of me, i started posting like mad, and by the end of the day, everyday they were still 1000 posts ahead of me, i learned that there is no way in hell ill ever get within 1000 posts of them so i learned to give up. They serious got computers strapped to their heads like u said.

Why wouldnt they want to build a DS? In SW: Rebellion it was more of a political tool than used for destroying a planet (unl;ess that planet was so heavily guarded that you just felt like blowing it up ) But if the DS was in a system you controlled the support would jump and for systems you didnt own they were much more likely to rebel, unless you used the DS then your support went way down. And EAW isnt that much like SW:Rebellion it is less Grand Strategy more fighting (i like more fighting! )

Hmmm, lots of room there to mess with continuity. Anyone feel cheated out of seeing the Clone Wars? I know I didn't envision the money-grubbing, hollywood mold crap that we got shovelled when Obiwan was telling luke about his father being a jedi knight fighting in the clone wars in ANH. Arg..... /rant protection engaged shutting response dowwwwwwwnnnnn... That is why Lucas is coming out with a half hour TV show series all in CGI called the Clone Wars. That way he can milk more out of us fans! (along with the Live action one that looks to be about Boba Fett) I think you forgot to mention hurting the SW reputation. I hate when they try to squeeze every last drop of money they can out of a good thing. It somehow makes things seem bad.

You sound like one of those "Glass Half-Full" guys; optimist. Thats good, i would have liked to see the SSD. But even if they dont put in an expansion pack (which im assuming they wont in the Near future cause of their new project) there are plenty of modders around here who are gonna help us out with that. And dont Kinx the B-Wings and Interceptors! We still dont know for sure about them.
