  1. Hey, who would like to see a stargate sg-1 mod made when the game comes out? It would be cool, with the goa'uld versus the asgard. The asgard would have powerful capital ships in space and would be reliant on vehicles on the ground. In space and ground the goa'uld would be reliant on numbers. All this would be set in ancient times, of course, not in the 'present' time of the show. The asgard could get some of the ancient's ships then. hmm.
  2. No it doesn't. It needs to be practical, not ships so tiny you can't see them properly. No, no, please be bothered to invent new ships. Sticking purely to what's there makes it hard to add variety. Look at Battle for middle earth, for instance. No new units, very limited strategy.
  3. Hey you changed your avatar...nice. Where did you get it?
  4. Really? That's bad-ass, dude! Anyway, comments on the video? notice the missle frigate used by the imperials in the retreat space battle.
  5. I hope those will be in the game. AT-AT walks up to its target, and too late realises it's stepped on a bomb! It would be an interesting way of taking out vehicles.
  6. The CW...hmmm...I think one of the reasons they did the rebels vs the empire but not the CW was that it made for two much more different factions. You have the vast-numbered empire and it's badboy mechs, versus the starved rebels with some tricks up their sleves. In the CW, you basically have two empires. But good luck anyway, and hopefully there will be enough CW units in the vanilla game to same you some time anyway.
  7. Three things: -this one's diffferent from Me-mw.com's video. -It's streamed at relativly high resolution. -It ends with a bad-(am I allowed to say it here ) battle. http://www.gamezone.de/gamezonetv_popup.asp?dl_id=867&rand=2005041219 NOTE:the site is in german but the video's all english, don't worry.
  8. The republic attack cruiser and the venator-class are one and the same. The three main SD's of the old republic were the Victory class, the Venator class and the assault ship or acclamator-class. Full frontal nerdity
  9. Uh, what? The ship they launched from was a venator-class.
  10. Thank you great one EDIT:Beware da llama!.
  11. http://www.theforce.net/swenc/entrydesc.asp?search=50177 Don't know about the aegis, but we have a tector!
  12. Er....how do I change it?
  13. Hmmm...never heard of 'impstar deuces'. Fill me in? The executor-class doesn't count, it's an SSD remember When did the Nebula get mentioned?
  14. http://hangarbay.tripod.com/td-aegis1.html For the aegis. and the aegis-2. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Destroyer#Tector-class_Star_Destroyer Is another good list. It has the tector class. Hope that helps
  15. Does anyone here know where I could find a good avatar the right specifacations? I have some good pics but no-matter how small they are they always seem to be too big a file size
  16. There wasn't much at that website I didn't already know.... Anyway, another class: Tector-class-a more heavily armoured version of the Imperial class. Lacks a ventral hanger bay (it is a pure fleet destroyer) nor does it have a protruding bulb. Sounds like my sort of juggernaut.
  17. Thanks for the welcome I just hope that we will see some interesting unit types, seeing we only have two factions. I don't want to start a debate about that, but I do want to see some interesting stuff-and a lot of it.
  18. Aegis class star destroyer? Sort of like half the size of the imperial class with equal firepower. But the the victory is in, so there wouldn't be much need for it. It would be nice to see a few more SD's with special abilities like the Indricator though.
