Hmm let's see what i got around here.. -Star wars Galaxies -Star wars Rebellion -Star wars Galactic battleground (not proud of that one haha) -Starcraft -Kotor -Kotor2 -Neverwinter Nights + both expantions -Homeworld 1 -Homeworld 2 -Dawn of War -Freelancer -Baldur's Gate 2 + expantion -Serious Sam 2 -Snes Emulator with lot's of old school games woot! love the classics!

  4. The SD u see near the end of the ep 2, refering also to the 1 with only 1 cylidical bridge is the Acclamator (aka republic assult ship), it is more of a troop transport ship. The Venerator (aka republic attack cruiser) is the 1 with 2 bridges, u see it in the opening moments of ep 3, the ship ob1 launched from. It also has the 2 hangers one on top and 1 on the bottom.
  5. Yeah deffinatly man. Heck i went and loaded it onto my comp like a week ago and played. Got rebed, and made everything cost 2/3 less and made ships far more powerful. more fleets= more fun

  8. I think there is 1 other unofficial site, based in europe, damned if i can remember the site, just look on the LEC forums. But the way ppl keep comin, i'd say we're the top unofical forum
  9. Take a look at the E3 video again, all those batteries on the SD in a couple shots weren't just firing in 1 direction. Hopfully there will be a couple settings, with "prioity attack settings"
  10. I think your right Ghostly, if there were jawa's and sand ppl on tat, they must have done that for other planets. I'm sure the E3 guy mentioned that this game would be enjoyed also by the explorer, what better way to explore then to see the different species inhabiting all the planets For more planets they should include planets near one another like corellia, drall,selonia. For mon calamari, there are also the quarin, (squid faced guys, mon cal are bubble eyed guys like ackbar) And of course the natural preadator's of each planet. From one of the NJO book series, i'm sure dantooine had a native race as well, but can i remember what they were, nooo, lol
  11. Stargate is the best sci fi tv show ever. The mythology just makes it that much more interesting. Gives it so much depth to story. My fav race is asgard, gotta love the little grey guys and there big ass ships I can't wait to see atlantis, looks awesome. Whenever i post, i always try to include my signature, and if someone asks about something we've talked about i'd give em the link. that kinda the idea?
  12. The great thing about this game is the fact that u won't have to go and control villagers or mine resourses. This is all done by contoling planets. if u wanna build a building, u simply buy it, and it get's built. I'm sure there will be economic aspects to it, but everything will revolve around credits. Makes for more fun doing battles
  13. It's good that u mentioned that seewolf. I distintly remember an SD firing batteries in at least 2 different directions, in a couple different battles. Perhaps there are a couple settings for ships. ie concentrate all fire power (ship will move to get all batteries in range from port to starbord. or fire at will, guns will target the strongest targets it can find on all forward arc's (port, starbord, bow)
  14. lmao, that was a great skit ghost. I'm kinda like ghost when i get a game i've really been lookin forward 2. i'll read the manuel on the way home or while it's installing, then i'll fool around on the easiest setting and play by trial and error till i understand it. I'm more of a try and learn kinda guy. but then i'll be lookin for someone to defeat in a humbling battle, where in i win, and sarcastily bow infront of fosh

I'm pretty sure there will be some research needed b4 u can just go out and build an imperial star destroyer, just to make things interesting. however, there has been some comformation that ships like mon cal crusiers require u to have mon calamari. perhaps u would have to get the kuat system b4 u can build imp stars. plus u might find it strategic to have more victory star destroyers, as u could probably build more, and cover more area if the need arises in the game.
  16. Maybe u'd get to create cool formations like that if u have an admiral present in the fleet. btw, i don't know how to upload an avatar, i have one but it's too big. how can i get it from the web? can someone e-mail me instructions plz?
  17. I thought it was just the symbol of the Republic. It's odd that palpatine would keep any symbols pertaining to jedi around
  18. I hope so 2 polovnik. It just doesn't make sence single units running around. they would move in squads. Maybe after u build a suad of say stormtroopers, i'd be nice if u could upgrade there blasters to blaster cabines, to blaster rifles, kinda like DoW.
  19. That's an awesome idea Cain, best tutorial idea ever. Perhaps to expand, there would be times in the game after that, while your in the game, and u have certain hero's. U give the command of a fleet, and u get to do a simulated battle. Outcome of the battle gives that commander better bonus's in combat and or Fosh's idea. It's nice to wish that this would be put in, it really gives depth to the game
  20. Commanders on fleets should give fighters perhaps more punch, and less losses in a percentage. Admirals on fleets should give all ships a somewhat faster rate of fire, perhaps a bit stronger shielding, generals should increase the health of all units on the field by a small amount. Things like that would be easy to do. The stronger the leader, the higher the bonus.
  21. Ship names are a must! If we're writing our own sw history, ships are a huge part of that. it's "star wars" wars in the stars. And who leads those battles? Ships. Not naming ships just takes the whole effect and throws it out the nearist airlock. At the very least, pre named ships. I like the idea of some ships having meaning like the Executor being Vaders flag ship and whatnot. i hope Petro hears our plea's
  22. These are some amazing ideas. With the spcific's u gave DarthScharnhorst, and the cool admiral idea, if it were implemented would make it a very tactical space stratagy indeed. Perhaps admirals would also give a bonus to all ships around like stronger shields and weapons, or faster reachage time on weapons due to great leadership

Yeah i love the resourse system, and the units are diverse and engaging. i've sat there sometimes 2, forgetting to play, and just watching the battles. i bet that's what EaW is gonna be like, lol. THere is no air, which is interesting, really adds to the ground battles. Trust me, the AI can be very difficult if u increase the difficulty. A great game deffinatly
  24. Yeah that makes sence lol. That'd be hella fun 2. Where was it that ppl were concerned there weren't any other hyperspace routes then the ones givin? i was replaying the video, and the guy specificly says that u can use starbases for viable tactical hyperspace route? or was he just revering to needing a starbase in that system now that the deathstar had blown up the planet? (30:58 ) sorry to go off topic, i just noticed it lol
  25. Admiral Solo knew the advantage of the trench run. That's how he pummled the SSD Iron Fist For an attack run in say the game, orders u could give fighters, that would be a cool command. Great for bringin down thoes pesky imp stars. But it shouldn't be that easy. hardpoints shouldn't just crumble, or what's the point of a capitol ship?
