Very ambitious, and a very well thougth out plan man. Not only does it have benifits to the moders, and fan site, but also the entire game, and publicity for the game will grow. Seems to me like it could really benifit everyone including petroglyph. If ppl know there is a capable modding comunity, pumping out more additions to the game, ppl will wanna buy and play it. I think any game out there that's truely successful is ones that can be modded, star craft for example. I hope they accept the perposel -
I'm down with that! PARRRTTYYYY!! Hands out Force Fx lightsabers for everyone, turns on "Duel of the Fates" and invites ppl to mock lightsaber battles. Gets in a dueling position. hmm, is it wise to duel, after a few drinks...

are u sure man? it looks like the planets are tatooine, and the other.. could be alderan? cause there's no gas giant in the system, unless the camera angle cuts it out.. i dunno

They look great! I love the one with the 2 mon cal's beating the .. junk out of that SD. Look how nice and detailed those ships are Looks like they were targeting the SD's turbolasers, cause all of the main port batteries are just toast

Much to learn, u still have There's a couple sites u can learn that stuff. The data bank at starwar.com has a lot of that info. So does http://www.theforce.net/swenc/categories.asp?category=7 I learnt a lot from these sites myself. I'm sure fosh has his sorces as well.

Nice to have u in our little comunity Allec. U've got a good idea. Perhaps that's how certain hero's can be found. Through expereance, u gain a hero, starts out as a captain, and the rest how u said it. Wow i just noticed, your our 100th person to join the forums, Congrats!!

See that makes sence. I thought 25k SD would be to few. So if u think about it, Rebels having a few thousand heavy combat ships like mon cal cruisers and what not isn't a hard thing to imagin. Not to mention all those fighters and lighter support craft. - i don't mean the local bulk cruisers mind u i mean the big corellian ships -

Wow, death traps galore, YAY!! lol An futuristic rts wouldn't be complete without some of those nasty mines u mentioned. Deffinatly would be strategic to have those babies around. I hope they think of that. Picture your small rebel fleet hugging a single golan defence platform, in fear of the large imperial battle group. they get closer and closer and... ooops! they forgot to check for mines! *BOOM BANG ect* 1/5 of there fleet is crippled and there fighteres took heavy damage. Rebel fleet, fighters and golan open up. Hello victory

It would be nice if some of those were still in circulation. I mean, there must have been 10's of thousands of them left over from after the clone wars. Surely the new ties wouldn't have taken over entirely. Same would go for venerators and acclamaters

For the size of a galaxy, i wonder in reality, how many SD and supers and fighters would have made up the empire at it's highest most powerful point. i think my one friend said at one point the empire had over 25,000 Star Destroyer's. Any info on this?

It would be really harsh if u had an energy shield protecting your base, and u had a nice heafty lair of mines surrounding it, and the foolish enemy thinking that u have a small force inside the shield, desides to forgo blowing the shield generator, and .. Trick! KABOOOM mines set along the parmiter of the shield. hmm could be interesting. Several different types of mines would make sence. i mean for anti personel, a bouncing betty type mine, and of course the good old tank mine.
