  1. Wow.... that was funny
  2. I believe that was the book X-Wing: Solo Command. I think it was the fighters/bombers intially attacked the Iron Fist, and then retreated, drawing the fighters away. The rebel captial ships then moved through the astroid field and attacking the Iron Fist with it's fighters gone.
  3. Hmm...I'd convert my Star Destroyers into giant Interdictor crusiers if I could, so 1 ISD could take on a bunch of ships and trap them in the system. Also, I'd put some shields on my TIEs
  4. That's the Corellian gunship, from Star Wars Rebellion. Used as an anti starfighter ship
  5. nice looking site. Can't wait till it's done
  6. The point between Ep III and IV was over 30 years (correct me if I'm wrong). The rebellion was VERY small at the time of Yavin. It wasn't untill AFTER Ep III that Mon Motha, Organa, and Bel Ibis formed the Rebellion. When they did do that, the Empire had total control of the galaxy, including the old CIS planets.

    School...

You guys all started late. I started way back in Aug.
  8. Yep, the big bad A-wing made it loose control before the secondary bridges could take control of the engines again.
  9. I want more powerful planets, like Kuat, Eridu(sp?), and the Corellian planets.
  10. He was the Admiral onboard the SSD Executor.
  11. Never played it
  12. 1. http://empireatwar.net/fall2005/community/trailers/index.htm Third one down 2. The battle will start in space. If the attacking side wins, it goes to a ground battle where they fight the defenders their. The attackers can call in bombing runs, land forces, and call in bombardments (I believe).
  13. I dont know about you guys, but that pic reminds me WAY to much of C&C Generals
  14. I'd be one of the 6 (if theres still openings ) Feel the might of my ISDs!!!
  15. If the game sells, I think they'll go for a "Clone Campaigns" type expansion. With the events that happened in the NJO, it would be hard to make a strategy game sense almost all events evolved around the "hero" characters.
  16. bothans werent in battlegrounds but there were bothan spies. or wus that a reasearch? my mind is fuzzy now. Just to clear up what I meant. The Vong hunter droids were made for one reason: to fight the Vong (duh). If there are no Vong, there is no point for there to be droids that specialize in fighting them.
  17. Vong aren't in this game,so I dont think Vong hunter droids will be either
  18. http://starwars.wikicities.com/wiki/A-Wing_Slash
  19. Thrawn is right. I just finished reading Wraith Squadron and they explain the same thing he does.
  20. Actually, because of the A-Wings speed, none of the fighters would have to slow down, I think. PS What book is that?
  21. The 2 tactics could work. What I'd do would be a lot like what Darkmark said: go for the expensive unit. The Rebels, if fighting a large Imperial force, would concentrate on attacking the units directly in front of the Death Star. This would make it so the Death Star wouldn't be able to fire on the Rebel capital ships. Instead of fighting larger ships like Star Destroyers and Dreadnaughts, the Rebels would concentrate on anti starfighter ships like Lancer Frigates and Neb-Bs. From there, the Rebel fighters could make an attack on the Death Star by simply out running the Imperial ships. If the Rebel fighters succeeded in destroying the Death Star, they can then hit the Imperial Capital ship's rear flank. The only flaw I can think of is that the Rebel capital ships would have to concentrate fire on small ships at first and hold off all TIEs untill the fighters could complete their mission.
  22. hmm... wasnt there an A-Wing slash too? If my memory is right, this tactic was similiar. NR fighters would engage TIEs enough to get them distracted, then A-Wings would "slash" the dogfight, destroying most of the TIEs.
  23. hmm That'd work....if your enemy was a complete moron . If you were able to land troops and pull the enemy away from the shield radius, you could just bombard their troops with your SDs.
  24. Just the fact that BF2 works for you makes me mad. *Kicks his video card* PS. If anyone has a computer that BF2 works on, could you please give me a link to the company's site
