I like the idea but can someone fill me in with the races ? I played DoW but not this so i'm somewhat confuzzled. The game has a nice start but wonder how well it will offer its stuff. I'll be tracking this. Edit: One picture reminds me of AOE 3 with gunfire vs 1 building. The view of the building is up up in the air. Videos: http://media.pc.ign.com/media/773/773711/vids_1.html

Do you really have to pick on the French? They have enough problems as it is such as riots Time to check this game out. 5 min later: Not my kind of game and the closest I would get to that kind of game would be Civ 4. Well have fun playing it tho.

Alien Factions That We May Expect to See Ingame
Ghostly_Substance replied to Nevets's topic in EAW General Discussion
Well thats what Imperials tried to do in SWG and dont point the finger at me "We're stopping you for Illigal objects stop so we can search you." Well what I mean was Imperials being somewhat peaceful and being more "Republic" like helping those in need or something along those lines. Yes they are evil but we make the plot dont we? Well if not in single player compaing then at least multiplayer campaign or skirmishs. -

I change it to: Nah, don't even bother with the tree-humpin' imperials! Raze enitre world with the mighty Rebels! (or something like that) You do know the Rebels fight for good Tree hugging carebears Rebels (trying to keep it as clean as possible mind you). Might Imperial that can turn into a police Faction instead of an evil one if the game allows us to do so -

Hmm well it spins and i'm guessing its a "advanced" or "basic" turret ? Maybe its just a certain race object that they built and left behind? -
KLAGENFURT, Austria (AP) A driver who swatted at a spider inside his car hit an embankment Thursday and flipped the vehicle over, critically injuring himself, police said. The victim was airlifted by helicopter to a hospital in the southern province of Carinthia after firefighters cut him free from the wreckage, authorities said. They said he told police he was trying to get a spider off his face when he lost control of the vehicle. The extent of his injuries was not immediately known.

PORT MORESBY (Reuters) Police in Papua New Guinea have arrested 320 people for practicing sorcery and religious cults, the National newspaper reported Thursday. Belief in sorcery is widespread in this jungle-clad, mountainous South Pacific island nation where some villages only encountered Western civilization in the 1930s. Police raided three villages Monday near the city of Lae on the north coast and arrested leaders of a "cargo cult" and their followers, the newspaper said. Those arrested were aged between 20 and 70. Cargo cults believe that Western goods or cargo, first encountered through missionaries and explorers, are created by ancestral spirits. They have been known to build airstrips in the jungles in the belief that planes would land with cargo. One group led by two women used menstrual blood as "sacred water" to enable them to see "invisible things," said the newspaper in the capital, Port Moresby. One of the female cult leaders, Malamba Kifea, said the sorcery improved the livelihood of the people in Kasin village, a remote settlement some eight hours walk from the main highway. "We read the Bible and in the book of Leviticus, we found strange teachings about women and their monthly period," Kifea told The National. "We were not sure and did not consult our pastor but kept the secret to ourselves after having revelations and seeing cargo and money being given to us." Another group in Sadau village used skeletons from ancestors to summon "supernatural powers" to predict the future and bring prosperity. "We can invoke blessings for protection, hunting, luck and to increase wealth," said elderly cult leader Erbu Kuriong. Kuriong said the sorcerers charged for their fortune telling, with the proceeds used to build a home for the group. About 80 percent of PNG's 5.4 million population ekes out subsistence lives in villages.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) A Colorado man who had a panic attack when he found he was glued to a toilet seat in a Home Depot restroom has sued the home improvement giant for negligence, saying staff ignored his plight. Retired electrical engineer Bob Dougherty, 57, said on Thursday he was stuck in the stall with his pants down for about 20 minutes and that two years after the 2003 incident he was suffering from post-traumatic stress, which has triggered diabetes and heart complications. "I have these nightmares every night where I am locked in this dark room, with no windows, no doors, no fresh air, no route for escape. I wake up in these cold sweats," Dougherty said. Spokesmen for Home Depot Inc. could not immediately be reached for comment. Dougherty said in a lawsuit filed last week in Boulder, Colorado, that he thought he was having a heart attack when he realized his buttocks and legs were stuck to the toilet seat in the Home Depot restroom in Louisville, Colorado. He explained his plight to an employee who came into the restroom but other Home Depot staffers thought it was a hoax and he had to wait until someone else came in to again summon help. Dougherty is claiming unspecified damages for help with medical and psychiatric bills, for humiliation and for the diabetes he said he has developed as a result of the stress. "Home Depot not only ignored my plight, they refused my plight," he said. Dougherty said he suspected the glue had been placed there as a prank by three teens seen earlier in the store.

Well since i've been raised as an Imperial in SWG i'll pay back the Imperials with glory and crush the Rebels for their stupidity in SWG. Well Rebels are smarter here in EAW so I might end up playing as Rebels since they're calling out to me
