I've been wondering that myself, anyway there's a chance will never see it except screenshots. And why do you say that about the heroes, just try the blademaster or the bloodmage and why not, the dwarf they're my personal favorites, they all have they're own abilities some are good against armies other against heroes, just try it.

Anyone bought Starcraft 2 yet? Coz I'd sure love a feedback. So the hotspot of this forum is in the EAW Discussion, the others just seemed to fade away.

Hey guys what's the best mod for BFME available? And to make the question more elaborate how on earth can I install one? None of the major mods work on my game only the small ones like the ones that modify the unit cap size and others like it, an error keeps poping up when I try to load it with the mod launcher . I'd appreciate some help. Thanks

So Ghostly I see you like homeworld2 and especially Silent Hunter III, did you know it's made in Romania ? And published by Ubisoft Romania? Ahhhhhh...... I'm proud to be a romanian . But it's working kinda laggy, maybe I have a computer problem or they haven't solved all the requirements issues, anyway I keep my comments for now.

U get to play with dwarves? Wow, great. So that means it's going to take the story to Silmarillion, hmmm... I'm getting goosebumps. Let me know on a release date.

The only thing that pisses me off is the balace issues in BFME, for example if you play with rohan you can single handedly defeat 7 hard computer players with Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas, just try it. And those Rohirimm archers are completely out of control. And concerning the maximum unit cap, well you can get special mods on rpgplanet there are some that caught my attention, really interesting.

Nice looking character Ghostly, what is he a Night Elf? So did anyone try that link, does it work? coz it's a Blizzard approved "renegade" server it has about 200 people with quests remade and stuff. And is it just me or there's a misunderstanding about WOW and warcraft 3? I haven't played WOW yet coz I don't have a permanent Internet conection but from your opinion is it a balanced game? Starcraft ghost ha? 30 $ ? not much but it's a console game for crying out loud, I really want the PC version. Blizzard just got a black mark for this in my book. I'm going to try to play it with one of those PS2 emulators maybe I'll get lucky .

The problem with WOW is the fact that it's player based and there's always, like you say, an issue to be fixed, I haven't checked out their homesite and I'm curious, did they solve the ganging issue, where 5 players would go against 1 ? The funny thing about Blizzard is that there's the old stories tweaked by them and altought there's 40% Blizzard and 60% other means of inspiration (for example Warcraft is Tolkien based and Starcraft is Alien, Predator, Starship Troopers and Independence Day based) they still manage to turn it in a delicious story and a great game.

Concerning Cain, he did what any other red-blooded administrator would do, he just posted a reminder that foul language is not necessary in making a point. Darkman, you really know what your taking about, but there's one thing bothering me and that's the fact that Blizzard doesn't wanna leave the Starcraft&Warcraft universe (altought it's pure genius they managed to keep it going on so many genres so far, rts, rpg, adventure, mmorpg) But seeing how I loved all their releases I don't know if want them to do that.

The stupidest moment had to be in Counter-Strike when I played for the first time, friendly fire was enabled and mistakend it for Quake , and I killed all my teammates while they were buying weapons, poor guys they didn'd even know what hit them . I have to say they were about 20 of them and I almost got my ass kicked.

Why? coz they only deliver quality games, and the balace issues are at minimum. And they have the coolest way of covering their mistakes, they put out a patch, with which they solve issues and they slip some minor changes to the game to keep the gameplay going for years. Nice. Go Blizzard !!

Jeese, I'd like to buuuuuuuuuut I have the cracked version of Warcraft so therefore the battlenet is unavailable to me . To tell you the truth I only played it on battlenet a couple of times.... but I sure appreciate a true fan. As long as u'r on this forum I know how o get in touch with you.

Loooooooooohohohol.... Warcraft's beauty stands in the non-trigger multyplayer games and my opinion those maps ruin the game, I have to tell you that I fell in love with the game from day one, and I've been playing it since, and consourning Starcraft 2... well.. u know Blizzard, they like to ware out all their products before launching another one.

Well at least for the last 2 episodes, the movie in my opinion wasn't a kids movie at all or I could be mistaking, coz the level of fhilosophy sawned in the movie, suggested exactly the opposite. It somehow related to budist lifestyle, and why not even... medieval. And I esspecially liked the way G. Lucas created the character of Yoda, the old, and small... defenseless creature who turned out to be more powerfull then most of the Jedy.

Well let's say it's going to come out sooner or later but it's going to be an console game, and i don't like that, they're practicly ignoring us, PC games fans, and that's low. Yeah I did play it but I wasn't exactly a fan, but rather a good vs Ai game, coz the network games kinda sucked, I remmemer we used to barricade ourselves with plasma turets, and then used the artilleries(which had a rather long range, I could shoot from my base to my enemies without even mooving them), or wait(if u where the bad guys) to build about 10 special weapons, I remmember they where cyclons.. plasma.. I don't remmember exactly, and devastate the enemy base. Anyway the balance issues were something that u couldn't take likely, but hey I was a kid then, who knows I could be mystaking.

Well nice to meet a fellow RTS fan, all I hear on this forum is sw here, sw there, I'm nuts, but hey it is a sw forum .. Blizzard hasn't released any information on a starcraft 2, but the confusing end is who is the new more powerfull species that threaten the entire galaxy, that's what's really bugging me, and they sure have a way of keeping us in suspens.

Are there no starcraft and warcraft fans around, I mean they are classics. I'd really like to get this topic started. Just as an off theme forum disscusion.

The SW saga is a masterpiece and a testament of human ambition, indurance and creativity, but it seems to me that some creatures could of looked alot better, for instance I don't know how many of you out there love that annoying character from Ep. 1 "missa think u crazyyy..." (u know what I'm talking about), I mean that guy looks like an oversized mutant bunny with no fur, no offense to his fans , and the Chewbaca's (sorry for my misspelling), which I don't have anything against, but they're way of talking is really annoying, and he could have looked more like a warrior, and the list could go, on but not to far , coz most of the creatures I really think they're cool especially in Ep. II. So I wanna know you're oppinions on this one.

Don't get me wrong I didn't say they are better then the Ep. III but they they are certanly better then Ep. I, II. Through they are cartoons, they were able to create a more fantastic SW universe, my kind of universe . I wonder If I can get them on DVD, or something, I just love them.

It seems to me that everyone on this forum is avoiding real time strategy games, seeing how this topic is all abou rts games . And I hardly consider Rome Total War an rts game.

Somehow I think the cartoons are better than he movie, the heroes are much stronger then the ones in the movie and the battles are at epic proportions, plus it really shows the quality of the clones, seeing how they are the bounty hunters exact copy , in the movie they just seem to be dumb dronez.
