  1. Hey Stratus, I'm glad you could break through that crazy hosting site and host this on SWR, where I always thought it belonged. I was trying hard just now to find this back for you, but I'm glad you could find-it before I did, because it has always been a hassle for me to find where to host-it. Rest assured that it is virus free, although since I'm not as good as the guys from reloaded, I know my installation method was less impressive. The important thing was that it worked. And thanks for the host, that's an honor!
  2. Sorry for my late answer. Sure, you can use my mod or data from it. Keep in mind that some of the work in there is not mine (models, skins, et.c, so don't forget to credit stuff as much as you can). I think this game is old enough that nobody would complain about having their work used, but you never know ;)

About energy and mine ressource, the only way I know to modify some things is with Rebed, and it does modify just Coruscant for the Empire and Alliance HQ start for Rebels. The rest I don't know about...

  3. How do I get this off my machine? It messed up my game, even after uninstalling and reinstalling.

Icons and cards are upside down, and the UI graphics are severely botched.

Sorry the mod did not work for you. Using DarthTex's way should work for you. I just can't recall having trouble uninstalling, so I can't help you with that. Uninstalling the game is not enough. You have to delete every single Rebellion files in the Program Files (x86) Folder, and then install from CD...

Any progress on this? Has link to download this mod?

No Progress. But it is pretty much as advanced as I would go... I'm updating the link, but it will get removed in another 180 days. 4 shared is not so reliable and I don't know what would be better...

    here's the link: https://www.4shared.com/archive/PDxTFDOvca/_Rebellion15_Mod_Betav2.html

pretty sure the link was on the front page. but the link expired years ago. so unless the creator still has the files on his computer, or someone else wants to upload it, then this mod doesn't exsist.

Sure I do. Know any place I can upload that's more stable than my current one?

  4. Frowned upon? I wouldn't call-it an exploit, rather a feature. Besides, it's not like it's helping that much. An empty planet is useless no matter what. If the empire gets pissed at this, it can bombard the planet till there's no energy slot available anymore, so it's not like it is problematic much :P
  5. Well, after all this time, I've decided to dust-off my VM and try to fix some stuff. MY previous install had REBED pissed off at me and not wanting to work with my mod. I am trying to fix this and if I can, I will work some more on this mod. Mainly, I was able to obtain Pricep's source files and plan on implementing them. Also, I will be trying to get rid of a part of the Aubresh the Reloaded mod implanted.

What is located within the GData folder? Replacing and adding data there seems to make RebEd pissed-off...

  6. I agree that they are better than the rest of the clone wars material, but still not as good as the prequel. I mean come-on, Mace Windu is just hammering f*****g metal armoured plates with his bare fists... How is that realistic? And Durge was way exagerated...

I can't believe I'm defending the Clone Wars stuff, but... well, Star Wars has never been about realism. If it was, stormtrooper armor would do something, tractor beams would have multiple control nodes (allowing them to be powered on remotely from, I don't know, the bridge?), AT-ATs would never have been used at all, the Ewoks would have been completely smoked, Vader wouldn't force choke people (he would crush their windpipes and leave them to squirm in agony on the ground), etc etc. And that's all from the original series; don't get me started on the prequels or the expanded universe.

In any case, the Clone Wars stuff was marketed to children. Just as the prequels were. If you approach them from that standpoint, they aren't so bad. Hopefully, with JJ Abrams at the helm, the new movie will be designed for someone older than twelve.

Well, yes and know. I mean, realism is about the author actually trying to make a story with elements that actually makes sense. From this point of view, the realism from a TZ or Mike Stackpole novel is way better than that of Kevin J. Anderson. Also, Lucas has always added a funny element. The original trilogy's clowns were obviously C-3PO and R2-D2. Adding Jar-Jar to the prequel was maybe a bit clumsy. In my opinion, he should have been a bit more serious, a bit less clumsy and idiots (à la bob sponge square...) and folks would have liked him. Would have been even better had Michel Courtemanche had the role instead of the actor that had-it. (This guy is so funny he can make you laugh without saying anything: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59SYVJ9N9cs ). But Ashoka, I feel she just popped out of nowhere and it just doesn't fit. In the original trilogy, there is nothing that may even hint that Vader had an apprentice (alas, not while he was on the LS). And on clone wars, things are just a little too exaggerated for me...

  7. If you are referring to this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars:_Clone_Wars_%282003_TV_series%29

Aw, you people don't get-it lol. Clone wars is like attempting something and failing. What would have rocked was if somebedy went ahead and picked-up any frigging Timothy Zahnn SW book and made-it into a movie. Now that would rock the Star Wars world to its very core! Or maybe something darker like the Vong... Just no Ashoka...
