  1. Ok. Finally got a wav to work. leia and tiin are set. Lando and Mace on the other hand are not. I have one more thing i'm going to try though.
  2. While they are currently made for due to certain abilities, they started in EAW so I can give you that mod once I get sounds working.
  3. These models aren't new. All are either from the game or previously released. As soon as I can get sounds to work Leia will be released. Lando may be released without sounds and then a future version will have them. Mace and the others will probably follow suit at this point.   5. The models where the sounds came from were made NOT by Raven or Lucasarts but by others. I've skinned JA models, modded KOTOR and made Battlefront Maps. I know what can and can't be legally redistributed and how to get permission. At any rate, I won't be needing the leia mp3's at least. I found several sites with numerous wav files for her. So if someone could just help me get them to work in game, leia will be done.
  6. The sounds are from models made by others and credit will be given, but these are not default game sounds (hence why I only have a few for Lando). They are sounds taken from the movies. Things like Mace's this party's over.
  7. Once I get further with this and if I get Bailknight's permission to use his laat, one of the heroes may drop a group of lesser jedi with 1 palpatine reskin, one obi-wan and one luke. As to making temples spawnhouses. Yeah that was actually the original plan for some of these heroes but editing all those maps was just too much of a pain especially since the temple was too large for many maps. For example I was planning on one in Naboo and could find no space available to plop one easily. Eventually I might do that. but I am so sick of reskinning the same jedi, so I may put some focus on learning to model soon.
  8. OK. I've taken some jk3 pk3 and taken sounds from leia and mace and one or two from lando (I need to keep looking for good sound for him). I need someone to convert these mp3s to wavs. I also have several wavs I made of tiin from the clone wars cartoon. His just needed to be added, which I'm having trouble doing. If someone is really good with sounds, please pm me.

  10. At the moment, he is. His abilities time and damage will be adjusted as needed. But for testing purposes, every unit is correctly extremely overpowered. For example, Mace can protect anyone anywhere on the map right now as many times as he wants and he can use force wave as well. Plo Koon can electrocute many units over a very long distance (too long. this will change) as well as heal/corrupt anyone he encounters. That's why those 3 are at the higher rungs in tech level. The only ones currently semi balanced are Kit Fisto and Agen Kolar since I've nearly finished them up.
  11. Yup. The ETA was found on EAW Files. I contacted the creator for permission a while back. And the interceptor was in the warlords pack released in Petroglyph's forums. I also need to contact Bailknight for permission about possibly using his LAAT. Today I spent cleaning a few things up. I also am very happy with Saesee Tiin's abilities. He has now become my favorite unit. Since Saesee Tiin specialty is being a pilot, both of his land attack involve piloting. Using Sirli's summon, Saesee can now summon his fighter, hop in and go attack anyone. He can then hop out, capture another vehicle, while his astromech flies his fighter. While Quinlan Vos' skin is not finished, his abilities are coming along. He has force wave (which affects Vehicles as well as Infantry) and Jedi Mind Trick. He'll be a starting hero along with Mon Mothma and the Droids. I always felt the rebels deserved a fighter at level 0. Especially since Palpatine is available for the Empire. The Tech levels are as follows: Starting Quinlan Vos Tech 1 Leia A'shared Hett Agen Kolar Tech 2 Lando Calrissian Kit Fisto Tech 3 Mace Windu Plo Koon Saesee Tiin If anyone is willing to help me add sounds or get a few, contact me and I'll send you the mod. Once I have some sounds, these guys will start to be released.
  12. Apparently not. I must have had it somewhere where tiin couldn't garrisson because all of the sudden it works fine.
  13. Late last night I had an epiphany. I realized Sirli's summon could be used for other things. So... http://img218.imageshack.us/img218/9917/saeseeridegj2.th.jpg Basically it works nicely. It functions like the lancet. when in the air. The trouble is in garrisoning it. As long as it hasn't taken off, a unit can be garrisoned. But after that, it's can't garrison again. It can drop the unit, but once dropped you can't get back in. Any ideas what needs to be done to resolve that?

  15. It was something odd with vehicle heroes. I just removed and readded the vehicles and they all seem fine.
  16. Since switching to my laptop, I have used notepad to edit, but I then check them for errors in firefox and internet explorer and nothing noticable is popping up. What's also important is that these guys worked fine before. They all went nuts after I attempted to add sounds to one model. Even after restoring that, ANY unit that has a ship in space crashes the game. Any that attach to flagship appear to work fine.

  18. Well I really screwed something up when attempting to add sounds and now any character with a space vehicle crashes the start up. So I guess I need to rework all that til it works. : And unfortunately my vos skin on tyber's prison model is not working. The model itself seems to have issues. If you don't believe me, try ui_tyber_prison.alo(i think that's the name) and you'll see what happens. :-\ So I guess I'll see how vos looks on the default tyber if I can't fix this thing.
  19. I took that into account which is why I'm making Tholme,A'shared and T'ra Saa since they so far have survived the purges along with vos. Since Galactic Conquest is meant to be alternate universe style my jedi can fit in. Plus there are some conspiracy people who believe plo koon or mace survived. As to the Lady Luck, unless there is a model I am free to use, I really can't do that. Modeling is something I have yet to tackle.

  22. Seems to me like most mods are working but holding off on certain things that might be solved or changed once foc comes out. I don't know where people get this dieing thing. Everyone's interest has shifted to foc and the mods are now trying to adapt to that from what I've seen.

  24. Which extractor. I downloaded the beta link in the tools and tutorials topic and that didn't work. Isn't there a newer version? I can't seem to locate it.
  25. what tool are you using. i tried using the one of those meg extractors and no luck. I'd like to mess with the xml.
