Umm. Mega James just for your information. There is a unit known as the Star Destroyer. That production run nearly Bankrupted the Empire when KDY began the construction of the Imperator Class.

That was the point. Can an ISD become a "Hero Unit" by destroying X amount of Rebel ships. IE get updated in terms of weapons etc

EG: Coruscant and Dantooine(mentioned in ANH as an old abandoned Rebel base) #8~Can normal Ships be "promoted" to hero status like in Civilisation III? #9~Can we have many small fleets jumping into an engagement at any time EG A fast Attack one coming in one side of the battle and exiting to hyperspace after Blitzkrieging an enemy flank. #10~Are there set Fleet Formations that we can set the fleets to?? EG: Flanking/Hammer and Anvil #11~ Are there preset attack strategies for Fighters like the A-wing Slash? #12~Can you preset Strategies for Fleets when you set it to Auto fight?

are you forgetting the game lets you decide the fate and what happens? No, I am not, and that is exactly the point of my post. The empire could very well chose not to build the DS at all. But my issue with this is, that there does not seem to be any gameplay advantage to building the DS. It doesn't appear to have any function that blowing up a planet (an event whose faction implications we still do not have any information on, if any). I am saying that if the game is designed to allow the Empire enough resources to build the DS assuming that it will, then the Rebels will be severely underbalance if the Imperial player uses those resources instead to build up their conventional fleet. I mean the Death Star is cool and all, but unless it provides a benefit that warrants the expense and danger in its loss not counting blowing up planets, then there is no point in a player making it in the first place. In the game Rebellion, building the DS was expensive, but it could carry troops, fighters and it could fire on enemy capital ships. It would add tremendously to an orbiting fleets bombardment values and it would affect the popularity of every system in the sector in which it occupied. All we know about the DS in EAW is that it can blow up planets and that since the technology ends at the end of A New Hope (except for alot of the Rebel technology ) the DS is almost guaranteed to not be able to fire on capital ships. Not to mention that we still don't know for sure the popularity dynamic in the game in general, let alone the implications of different factors that might affect that. The condundrum with the DS could come down to this. "The Death Star is the Ultimate power in this Sector of the Galaxy" -Grand Moff Tarkin I feel that Tarkin has this down to the point. If you build the death Star all planets within a region may all become Pro-Imperial Allowing you to take command of a region of planets really quickly.

Firstly I would like to say a great thanks to LucasArts and Petroglyph for the new Trailer. I sensed a dimming in the Community prior to the release. The Trailer itself has brought us an interactive look at the Galactic Map, with Mon Mothma being present as reporting from a mission on Dantooine. It also shows that we can move fighters from one System to another without a Transport ship. We see Boba Fett leading a group of Storm Troopers. This has raised a few questions in my mind because he is a Bounty Hunter in the Canon and EU leading Mandalorian troops in the New Jedi Order. Nowhere in the canon does he ever lead Imperial Troops. There is open debate over whether there is a new Imperial walker seen in the trailer. Is it the Imperial MTAT(spider-walker) or the WED Treadmill Droid. Only Time will tell

Zonama Sekot is the Seed of Yuzhaan'tar. As the Yuzhaan Vong conquored their galaxy the seed was sent across the void until it developed in the SW Galaxy. It was colonised by the Ferroans, Zonama had a secondary species which "built" the ships. People from across the galaxy came to marvel at the ships. Vergere A Jedi knight came just before the YV. She said that the planet was causing a familiar to move around instead of her own force use. Later Anakin and Obiwan vcame looking for her. Anakin Bonded with 9 seed things and a ship was made for him. Then Tarkin Came looking for the living ships. Sekot fled. Then came the events of Force Heretic 3 50 years later.
