Ok. So I brought Rebellion off a guy on ebay. I won and paid on the same day. 28th Feb. After a couple of days it still hadn't shown up. I email him and he says he'll post it either Saturday or Monday first class (next day delivery). It's now Wednesday and it still has yet to arrive! I emailed him again yesterday but he hasn't got back. If/when it comes what Feedback shall I leave him? Positive/Neutral/Negative?

Troops i have on dvd, along with a few other fan made films, and i have to say it's very well made. I have yet to see any better it!

The reason I have Nat Portman as my avatar is because she looks as fit as **** in it. I was thinking about having Rommel or Guardian as my avatar but wasn't sure if that would be allowed.

Although I can't watch the vid I know what you are talking about. It originated in France if memory serves correct. I see a few kids in my town trying to it but you can come across as a bit of a joke jumping and sliding under metal rails 4 feet high . But I guess you have to start somewhere. I remember seeing one kid, about 14/15, who could twirl 360 in the air Darth Maul style. He could do it over and over again. It was amazing!

Leonardo D'caprio? Nooooooooooooooooooo! That would have been the death of the Star Wars franchise. Although, alot more women would have taken an interest I can only stand to watch parts of I & II. Ep III was alot better IMO, but needs some triming. Lucas should have made the Thrawn Trilogy or KoToR maybe? If fact, make that Peter Jackson.

GET IT! Is is an improvement on the first in many ways. Plus it would now cost next to nothing to buy. So you have no excuse.

lol After hearing all the bugs in Empire At War I turned to Amazon and read customer reviews of the game. Although most gave a positive feedback I came across a post which mentioned Rebellion. A game with a similar concept but with more planets, superstar destroyers and characters from EU caught my interest. Since then I’ve not bothered to get EaW and brought Rebellion off Ebay. Should be arriving first thing tomorrow. Can’t wait!

Why all the long posts? If you have something to say, just say it. Don't keep beating around the bush. Get to the point. My main reason for not being religious is because they all (I think?) tell you what you should and shouldn’t do. Humans reach an age when they know the difference between right and wrong i.e Thou Shall Not kill, Thou shall not steal ect I know this already. It's called having 'Morals'. My other big issue I have is: Why so many? Surely if there was a god(s) why do we have so many? How can we discard some i.e Ancient Egyptian Gods, yet not others? I believe life is too short to do and obey what is said in some ancient text.

I like most EU. The Republic and Empire Series by Dark Horse Comics I count as cannon. I have no real problem with EU, Only when it contradicts the films, or is way to far stretched.....even for Star Wars.

Why is that funny?

Although Battlegrounds is now a few years old I still find it a very enjoyable game. Lots of Empire and Rebellion units and structures, as well as CIS, Republic, Gungans, Wookies, Trade Fed, and Naboo. Plus an easy map editor was a added bonus. I am yet to play EaW, but will after all the bugs have been sorted out. Which would you say is better Play Wise?

I don't believe in any religion. Mainly becuase they are all flawed. I put my faith in science and technology. That's not to say I don't have a spiritual side tho.

I am yet to read the novel, although I have heard good things about it. But, this is EU after all and if not mentioned in any films or by Lucas it is debatable. However, I don't doubt their was anti-alien personnel in the empire's service. As for Palps wanting peace, I believe so. Only his version of it. For example, take Hitler (whom I believe Palps and his Empire/Reich is based upon, the similarities are scary!) when he came to power he wanted peace and order. However, this was at the cost of discriminating against those who he saw as the enemy: Jews, Gypsies, Homosexuals ect.

Have yet to read all 4 pages but will do after my two pennies worth. Enthusiastic nOOb here. EU can be great but it's not full prove. Meaning unless it's mentioned in the films theories on the Empire can only be speculated. Although we get the picture that they can be ruthless if needs be. Is the Empire/Palps anti-alien? No. Maul for a start, the CIS, his political aides, bounty hunters, spies ect ect This proves that the empire couldn’t a be strictly human sect. As regards about the Jedi and controlling the galaxy: think of it like this, the Jedi are the far left while the sith are the far right. The Jedi don't wish to control the galaxy, mealy keep the peace within it. The sith also want peace but it differs to the ideas of the Jedi. They believe only one or two should be in charge as it cuts out debates and disagreements with others. Similar to a King or be it an Emperor. The sith believe that only strictness will keep the galaxy in line, while the Jedi believe in a much more open minded view democratic way. Palps uses those to carry out what he feels must be done. The individual doesn't exist. Only the state/empire. If he was to teach others of his ways then they would become a threat to him. He has to make himself out to be the single most inportant person (the only?) who can control the galaxy. This is why no one is second in line to him.
