  1. And then if you told them to command they would switch to original names, and Bounty Hunters would be constantly after one of the Empires characters.
  2. It would only do damage if the Bridge shields themselves were down, since they cover a much smaller area they should be just as powerful as regular shields.
  3. But you have to take in mind how SLOW the Death Star moves and rotates
  4. No The cloaked Carracks were lead underneath the shield on tractor beams from supply ships. Then he used Joruus Ca'both or whatever to tell the Carracks to fire at precisly the right moment so that the Chimeras blasts hit the shield and disippitated but the Carracks fired right then to make it appear that the Chimera had fired two presice Turbolaser blasts right through their very powerful shields.
  5. Actually the AT-ATs destroyed the Power Generator not the Shield Generator
  6. Actually the Hoth shield didnt cover the entire planet, just the Rebel base. Also it wasn't up all the time cause the energy emmisions would be detectable.
  7. Actually read the books, the A-Wing didnt crash into the bridge. It destroyed the bridge with some concussion missles and was taken in the explosion following. I believe that the domes atop the star destroyers were sensor domes and controlled and powered the Bridge shields not the entire ships shields.
  8. you know what i would do about the weakness of the bridge, transfer all components to the aft of the ship but still inside it. Make sure it still looks exactly the same and convert the original bridge into the brig . Imagine "sir ive got a clear shot on the bridge" "Go for it Wierdo leader" "Got it, firing now" "Direct hit, bridge destroyed!" "wait those bodys pouring out, they have binders! ITS GENERAL DODANNA AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
  9. The reason the Prototype missed the planet was because its Superlaser was not calabrated, but it got that fixed for good accuracy but its kinda hard to rotate a giant battlestation toward the correct space of a moving ship and fire while its still there.
  10. Ill take Imperials, and if possible ill take some ships and put lots of explosives on them, mainly smaller ships for cost effectiver puroses. Imagine seeing that your enemy has left a Executer sitting in the middle of space so you go and ram it with 4 explosive filled Carracks completly destroying it with much smaller cost. oooooooookkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk now we see the effects of Time Zone differentials
  11. THe first Death Star actually couldn't target ships, it didnt have a proper targeting computer for this huge and unstable beam, read the Jedi Academy trilogy where the Prototype Death Star misses a planet and destroys a moon. The second Death Star had the proper targeting computer plus added a controlable energy planet so it could easily fire on ship after ship without having to wait hours or even days for a recharge.
  12. I believe they'll have Intercepters in the game, if they dont the Rebels will be too powerful which they cant have for their precious "balance".
  13. Good for too long the Empire has been without a victory like this, Bel Iblis Killed, a ESSD Captured and Wedge Antilles captured wonderful.
  14. Ah the victory conditions in Rebellion, i remember playing a Headquarters only victory setting as the Empire for 9000 days then getting fed up and destroying every planet that wasnt mine in the galaxy
  15. Well, the Interdictor and A-Wing are in it so I can only hope for the TIE Defender *prays*
  16. Whats more satisfying, having your forces beat attack your opponent in equal numbers and just barely win by one or massivly crushing your enemy with highly trained and accurate stomtroopers unlike those clumsy rebels that barely ever hit.
  17. I hate balance, it ruins so many games
  18. Oh the SSD wont be in the game thats been confirmed. The most lethal thing about the Death Star would be the shear amount of Turbolasers it can bring to bear, this would allow it to tear through fleets of Rebel ships easily without ever firing its Turbolaser. Of cource then it would have to suffer fighters, but if its the invicible Death Star II then that would be impossible and no fleet could stand a chance against it unless they destroyed every single weapon it had(no easy task considering the shear amount) and then pound the surface for a couple of months till you reached the core. Very inefficent and costly, a better approach would be to get a team aboard and sabotage it.
  19. I usually just save the same game twice, then exit and run the Traitor program on the second. Go in game see what i want to see then load other save.
  20. I agree great RPing.
  21. Good story keep it coming.
  22. Sorry cant play anymore, my speakers blew out and Rebellion wont play without them for some reason.
  23. You dare suggest that the Empire might lose? Traitor! Guards seize him.
  24. Is that a retorical question, of cource their are ill play. I.P?
