Would this work? Get a massive fleet with lancers, fighters, et cetera, and put a death star in it, along with characters, troops, et cetera. Then, simply go round the galaxy and blow up *every single planet*

Hmm. In that case, I think the emporer's a traitor. He keeps failing recruitment missions, he's never managed a diplomacy mission, and he fails an espaniage mission to coruscant. -
What can cause a recruitment mission to get the 'failed' result? I think the only thing is the misson-ee being a traitor, as if you've got everyone it just says something about there being no-one left?

True, which is why i would leave the fleet in orbit around the planet, and keep coming round too. Its easier as imps. Ok, no rebels here....die planet! I did that once and loyalty went up......

What I mean is, if I locate vader there, I'd immeditaly send down the several hundred commandos the fleet is carrying to capture him.

It will wait I think. My main plan is to send a fleet round blockading planets and then doing espionage missionms with a force user. If vader is there it will always tell me. (Especially if it is Luke. This is actually how I got palpy.) If he isn't, I learn a bit about the planet. However, my fleets aren't strong enough yet.

What if the recon mission is failed? (Do recon missions ever succeed on enemy planets?) I sent about 40 and all failed.
