  1. Omg that was hilarious. Hey Krytos, what's a Yabbie? *Googles* Cool! It's like a Lobster! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yabby Good eatin? Found some more info on the long lost XWA clan I was a member of so I updated my site. http://www.thesurvivorsofendor.50megs.com/
  2. You need to do another version of that involving Mary Poppins.
  3. Took me a second to realise it but yeah the picture of Han is a little diffrient from the version I have. More like ROTJ instead of ANH.
  4. Is that what it is. I couldn't quite figure it out. "No it's not a weequay... hmmm. I give up." -me
  5. I find a good jump off point in another sector (Or sectors) and stage a big fleet. Once I've massed enough I'll jump straight for Coruscant, knock down any defenses and take the planet. I'll then use Coruscant as my main fleet/operational base to secure the rest of the sector. Once I'm sure Coruscant has enough defenses, I'll move the Rebel HQ to it so I don't have to split my fleet. *Off topic somewhat* I'll normally hit Coruscant with 5-6 sector/combat fleets and 1-2 troop fleets arriving the day after. The troop fleets normally have a decent escort of Dreadnaughts carrying Y-wings for bombardment and Fleet Regiments. Each sector grade fleet will have atleast 1 Mon cal + a full compliment of Carriers, corvettes, frigates etc. I normally re-enforce one of the fleets with additional Star Destroyers and Mon Cal Cruisers prior to hitting Coruscant. Attacking Coruscant is just about the only time I commit the resources necessary to support B-wing squadrons. A rough force of about twenty heavy cruiser grade ships is the minimum I attack with. If I get worried I'll wait a little longer until I can add a few Dauntless.
  6. *Clicks on favourites* *SWR.com* GAAAAHHHHH! !!!!!!!!! What the hell!/!?!?!? It IS SWR! OMGomgomgtheychangedthesitedesign/layout!omg! This is going to take some getting used to.
  7. No I don't know how much it weighs exactaly. Hard to tell. I'm not about to be getting any awards for getting the most excercise. It is only the tiniest bit heavy for me right now. Inspiration to work out. As yet I don't have a great deal of skill in weilding a blade of any sort. I've held off any serious practice previously because the cheap things I've bought before were all too blade heavy to really do anything with. Especially that really ornamental one. (I was going to post pictures of that at some point wasnt I? Have to remember that later. ) Algonquin College only picked up the General Intrests course "Chivalrous Sword Handling" after I stopped going there. ( Mother-*#C&^#VB^^V%5v37vn57_%^^%@#^$ ) http://www.algonquincollege.ca/PartTimeStudies/contactPolice.htm Oh man! I remember that thing! I was so amazed it didn't fall over and kill the poor guy.
  8. Now for something completely diffrient... I bought a new sword! http://www.kuttersknives.com/ Specifically I bought a War Sword. It was either that or the Agincourt Sword but I didnt think I cared for it as much. I tried hefting one of these while I was there. It was much lighter than I would have expected but still way out of the weight range that I could handle. My new sword kicks ass. It's got a great balance to it, and doesn't weigh a ton but enough that you know it's solid. The handle is large enough that I can grip it two handed if I want to but thanks to the balance I can actually use this one handed. Thankfully my Dad was there when I bought it because he knows enough about carbon levels in steel. I can never remember the numbers for some reason but he's an engineer and has worked with diffrient strengths of steel before. He didn't have anything negative to say about the carbon levels and that was about the only thing I was still worried about at that point. *$$$.$$* "Do you take bank cards?" -Me
  9. Lately at work we've found out something interesting. In the US A&W has a hotline of sorts for people to call about any complaints they have with their food orders and such. Only through some kind of mistake the number seems to direct calls to our restaurant. It make it somewhat odd since the US and Canadian A&W chains are owned by diffrient companies. On days while I was working so far we've gotten two calls from some place in Pensilvania and another from... Iowa I think. Started with an "I" cant remember for sure which State it was. Caller: Hi I'd like to complain about my order. It was cold as soon as I went to eat it. Us: And you're where sir? Caller: Southern Pensilvania. Us: ....Uh ...That's a six hour drive from here or more...
  10. That is awesome Krytos! I'm not big on pink engines but it seems to work here making it look kinda creepy. You'd almost expect Sith to be using it. Hey Mad, I know you've been busy but what ever happened to the model of that Tie starfighter I sent you designs for? EDIT: Gah! I've got to change my avatar but it'll have to wait until I can get my new computer and have it straightened arround.
  11. I live in a city (large town really) founded by loyalists that fled durring the revolution. I wonder which way I'm going to vote?
  12. The 7 man made wonders of the world? Didn't click in for me for about five seconds. "Huh? Where's Niagra falls and the Grand Canyon in the list... oh right?"
  13. Check this out. A 30's style trailer of Star Wars.
  14. That was an interesting video. Did I already post this? I don't remember. http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h293/Defender_16/Quantumphysics.jpg
  15. Ouch! It's not much of a prize if you have to pay for it.
  16. I didn't want to make a tripple post, (blasphemy!) but here we go. BUMP! http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h293/Defender_16/TF-92-AAlphaKatana.gif A greatly fixed and cleaned up version of the original Katana class starfighter I drew back in 2003. There's SOOOO many problems I can see with this design now it's freaky. This image isn't so much new as it's been refurbished. Heavily refurbished. TF-92-A Katana class Heavy multi-role fighter The 'A' version was rushed into production well before some rather major bugs were solved or even discovered in some cases. Power system reliability could cause losses of vital equipment in the heat of battle. Thrust vectoring systems that were produced too hastily or cheaply could fail in several ways, most being fatal. Recharge rates of the particle beams were slower than they were first touted as being. Even the sensor packeges for the missile launchers could lose calibration mid-mission. Despite all of it, thousands were still produced and many pilots chose to take their chances with the tempermental beast of a fighter. When operating properly the new fighters could outclass any other fighter available at that time. The hard work and modifications made by engineers held the fighters together long enough for new equipment to be issued. All 'A' models were recalled for upgrade or replacement once suficient 'B'models had been distributed to the fleet. Nearly all were returned to service after modification, and still saw use for years later. Pencil Drawing of a later model. http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h293/Defender_16/TF-92-F-i_Scancopy.gif I only drew one half of the thing and hadn't copied and flipped it for the other half until today. Some editing was done but I tried to leave most of it alone. Blarg, it looks a lot wider than it's supposed to.
  17. YTMND Gif. Lol. I could never beat Mario 2. http://content.ytmnd.com/content/b/4/0/b40a7d4e10c73bce26704b571b7a0c2d.gif EDIT: I'm being considerate and changing this to a link 'cause it's 1.9 Mb. Just think, I found this in somebody's Sig in another forum.
  18. Right, and Ontario is near Los Angeles... oh wait it is. Seriously I could never afford a ticket to get to London.
  19. *Shrug* It's not my fault you can't survive ejecting in X-wing Alliance.
  20. It's my kill/death ratio when flying a Defender. 16:1
  21. I think this is the third time we've had a thread like this that I can remember. TIE Defender; vehicle of choice. Couldn't get Defender on MSN gaming zone cause it was already taken. 16 is one of my lucky numbers. I pronounce it 'cry-tose' I find, which is close enough.
  22. I never liked Pac-man but that was awesome. ROFL I haven't been posting enough random. Tom Cruise parody from Scary Movie 4 EDIT: Look out it's a fairly random YTMND (Kinda loud) Not a holiday tree.. Aww man! How did none of us find this one in time for the holidays? Last YTMND of the day.
  23. Yes, and I'm glad for that. It's like 'where have I seen this scenario before?' Closest thing that comes to mind for me was an incedent in Gundam Wing but I'll leave that be. *SPOILERS* Jacen: Hey look! I wanna join sides with the Yuuzhan Vong! Vergere: Hes not lying... honest... (Everything I say is I lie, everything I say is the truth...) mumble... Vong: Wellllll... maybe. Jacen: I'll be good! Honest! Vong: I suppose we can try it out. Jacen: Hey look, I betrayed the Jedi with the worst danger sense to you. Vong: Should we kill him? Jacen: Maybe we could try sacrificing him in the one place where I could ruin all of your plans? Could I? Most of the series was good I found though I started to notice the creeping hand of GL at work as thing went on, trying to adjust the timeline to better fit his prequel movies. "Oh hey, an acclimator transport, that's odd we havent ever seen one of those over the course of THIRTY PLUS YEARS OF STORIES BASED ON THE ORIGINAL MOVIES!?" Can't believe they killed off Anakin. GL: "People might get Anakin Solo and Anakin Skywalker mixed up, Let's kill him off." Can't believe they killed off Anakin. )*@#&$)$&$)! The ending for the series seemed a tad quick but it was still good overall.
  24. Wow. I've never seen Star Blazers before. Heard of it yes but never actually watched any of it before now. The animation leaves a little bit to be desired but then all of the series from that era are like that.
  25. We've been hovering arround $0.86 CDN per Litre for Gas. But then that's about the price where we can produce our own with extraction from the Tar Sands.
