  1. What about the units from Warlords? Like the Dominator and Allegiance Star Destroyers. I know there are a good amount of mods floating around that use the units, but I haven't been able to tell if they are cannon scale.
  2. Has there been a release of the Precise ship scaling for FOC by chance? I haven't seen one and was curious if anyone knew of one.
  3. Any idea how difficult it will be to transfer mods over from EAW to FOC? The one that concerns me the most is the scale mod. Putting all the new units to scale. I used a mod not longer after I bought EAW that put all the ships into proper scale. Matter of fact, I think everybody did.
  4. Why is there such a large gap between the forum dates? It seems the forum died out after April and didn't come back to life until recently. What happened?
  5. I've been out of the modding loop for a couple months. Has there been any models that were made for EAW? I know before that the modding tools were not released so custom models were not possible. Is this still the case?
  6. I'm looking forward to Foc solely for the modding potential. I heavily modded EAW and am looking forward to working with FOC. The whole third faction doesn't really interest me. After I try out the campaign, I'll probably divide the units between the Rebels and the Imperials. Time will tell.
  7. Markers.XML, my mistake.
  8. I'd hate to redo all my modding changes after the patch. :'(
  9. Does anyone know when the mod tools will be released? When we can finally started adding models to the game is when modding will really get fun. ;D
  10. Actually what I asked I ended up finding buried in an older thread. I want to change the amount of reinforcements you could bring during a land battle. The amount is normally capped at 10. To change, I had to go into the Gameconstants.xml. I also need to the change the reinforcement points themselves by going into the Merge.xml file I believe it is.
  11. I have the code for the TIE Advanced, and I have a seperate TIE Advanced unit for land battles (similar to snowspeeder). Is it possible to combine them into one unit? I know it's possible with Hero units like Vader, but can it be done for regular units? Thanks for help in advance (no pun intended).
  12. Yes, I already edited the caps for skrimish. But I wanted to change the cap for deployed units on a planet during Land battles in GC. Like you said, editing the Planet xml seems to be the best way. Thanks for the info.
  13. Yeah, I was thinking that each planet had a seperate XML file. :
  14. I've searched the forums about various ways to increase the population caps for land battles. Is there any way of increasing the cap past 10 without editing the units themselves? I don't want to have an unlimited cap. Is editing all the planets the only way? I would hate to manually edit all the planets pop caps.
  15. So you're saying if I add an invisable and non destroyable hardpoint, it negates the armor of the ship? Or did I misunderstand you.
  16. Does anyone know which XML files determine when Hero units spawn in Galactic Conquest? Do you have to be at a certain tech level to get Vader? If so, can I change that? I would like to have as many hero units at the start of the conquest as possible. If anyone knows, I would appreciae it.
  17. My understanding was that if you made the new hardpoint targetable and destroyable, bugs would occur. But if you made them non targetable and destroyable, it would work fine. Because you can destroy a ship without targeting any hardpoints. Also, how did you know what model to use for the attach? I would like to add numerous hardpoints to vessels like the Mon Calamari and the Star Destroyer. I have viewed numerous mods that have added hardpoints, but like I said, I don't know how they came up with the perticular model to use for the attach or what mesh. For example, how did you know to put HP_E_Bone for the Nebulon mesh?
  18. I was wondering if anyone could explain how the , , and fields work as far as hardpoints are concerned. I know that using the bone command allows you to add hardpoints by making them not targetable and not destroyable. But I'm not sure how to know what model to use or how to use the mesh. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
