  1. You Kill me lolololol, Use the Horse that's brutal lolololololol
  2. I Know that english is not his native language just like english isn't mine also, but i do my best to overcome this. Please don't get me wrong Seewolf and continue to post your thoughs. I read the game's preview and they said that fans of star wars rebellion can consider this game a new hope (thank the maker). I agree with Seewolf, turrets should be the first line of defence, that is why i spoke of sabotage missions since these nasty babys can do serious damage to invading forces. As for my question wether or not a TIE unit would represent a squad, is now answered, each TIE unit is actually several starfighters.
  3. It's hard for me to follow you Seewolf, please do watch your spelling
  4. From what i know that was a side effect that came along with Grievous "making". The cough is in fact Lucas cough (if i remeber correctely) since he was sick at the time but he liked it and it was allowed to appear in the film. Now if Lucas had your theory in mind i don't know but it could work.
  5. Yes i agree but i was referring to other things like the chronologic lapses, that quite often happen, lapses in the movies like stormtroopers hitting the doors with their heads, and wet hairs in one scene and dryed in another do you understand??? Secrets and myteries are the core and daily bread of Star Wars lolololol.
  6. You said it Jedi2004!!! Damn, maybe one day it will all be cleared lolololol
  7. Darth who?????? Cyz???? Are you referring to Plagueis the Wise???
  8. I found another cache of pictures and this time i managed to post them lolololol yeahhhhh , i hope you like them! http://galactic-voyage.com/images/Episode%20III/Anakin%20and%20Obi-Wan%20in%20the%20temple.jpg http://galactic-voyage.com/images/Episode%20III/Anakin%20and%20Obi-Wan%20vs.%20Droids.jpg http://galactic-voyage.com/images/Episode%20III/Anakin%20and%20Padme%20in%20aprtment.jpg http://galactic-voyage.com/images/Episode%20III/Anakin%20kills%20Wat.jpg http://galactic-voyage.com/images/Episode%20III/Anakin%20looks%20intent.jpg http://galactic-voyage.com/images/Episode%20III/Biker%20Scout.jpg http://galactic-voyage.com/images/Episode%20III/Darth%20Vader3.jpg http://galactic-voyage.com/images/Episode%20III/Darth%20Vader7.jpg http://galactic-voyage.com/images/Episode%20III/General%20Grievous%20in%20cave2.jpg [/img]http://galactic-voyage.com/images/Episode%20III/Mace%20gets%20electricuted.jpghttp://galactic-voyage.com/images/Episode%20III/Burned%20Anakin.jpg
  9. Silly me i missed that part in the movie I looked for info concerning the power generator and even though they are a little bit ambiguous this is what i come up with, even in my Behind the Magic encyclopedia they are not very clear. "Because the base required a huge energy supply, immense generators were required to power the installation. Unfortunately, these generators could not be contained within the existing base and the rebels were forced to conceal the machinery on the mountainside. The generators stood under thick layers of insulation, shielded to prevent detection" http://massassi.yavin4.com/sw/ap_mage.htm "Hoth's main power generator is located just outside Echo Base. Major Kem Monnon wanted to build the Generator inside the mountain like the rest of the Base, so it would not be visible from space. But due to technical heating problems this was not possible. The Imperial Probe Droid homed in on it's magnetic field and the base was discovered. The power generator provided energy for the energy field protecting the base from bombardment from outer space. Also it provided power for the Ion cannon and for the base itself" http://members.tripod.com/Tiger887/Battles/BHoth.html "Above the hangar, placed into the mountainside were the base's ground based weapons batteries, which included the v-150 Planet Defender Ion Cannon. Due to the energy demands of Hoth Base, the heavy-duty power generators needed were too large and too thermally-intensive for the underground base and thus they had to be constructed just outside the base, near the mountain in which Echo Base was concealed. All of the generator's thermal and electromagnetic radiations were hidden and safely dispersed to prevent detection from space. VXI-3s were positioned at the Hoth Base and at remote observation posts to provide an early-detection scanning system for the Rebels." I looked for the ion cannon as well and once again it's a little bit contradictory "...and it receives its power from a massive reactor normally buried about 40 meters below the ground."
  10. Like i said Anakin lost most of his power when he was injured by Kenobi. So after that he could not get rid of Palpatine on his own that is why he wanted Luke to help him like he says on Ep 5 "You can destroy the Emperor he has forseen this.... join me and together we will rule the galaxy as father and son" NOTE: This is based on a text i read sometime ago. XIIIII your mean lololol!!!! Don't underestimate the powers of the Emperor!!!!
  11. It was only a comment!!! I want something more elaborate as well. Anyway, yes i saw the power generator lololol, it's another way for it. The one we saw in Hoth was strong enough to sustain a shield, an ion cannon, defence turrets and the echo base itself.
  12. Yeah that one haunted me for many years, and i add more, i've read over the years that, although speculative, no one was quite sure how Palpy was first introduced to the Dark Side but that he had studied at the Sith mausoleum world of Korriban and there he unleashed tremendous energies from a Sith Holocron ravaging is mortal frame, now at last we saw what happenned, although i have some questions to ask: From what i saw Mace was deflecting Palpy's Dark Side lightning back to him thus ravaging his face correct??? Next i ask you palpy did that on purpose so that Anakin felt the urge to rescue him, otherwise he could have killed Mace more quickly, what say you?? Some of my friends, and i give them some credit too, say that Palpy looked somewhat weaker confronting both Mace and Yoda, i only agree when he faced Mace but as i told earlier i'm not quite sure if it was all premeditaded or not. As for the duel with yoda i think they were evenly matched and the outcome could have turn to either side.
  13. Why not build them all over the planet's surface if we have the means to??? To operate such powerful weapons we need energy, so that should be the limitating aspect besides credits or maintenance whatever, like in Rebellion you can build many of them as long as you have free energy slots available in a planet. Now i don't know if the EaW will consider sabotage missions but it would be very cool and it would augment the game's dificulty making it more thrilling won't you think so??? Strategicaly it would be a great asset since we would be able to clear some nasty facilitys like these babys or to swep aside some troops and tanks before we jump in with an all out invasion thus saving many lives and military equipment. I agree with Wolf, invandig troops should be forced to land away from a base in some scenarios that justify this action move of course, this would buy the defender some time to either mass a counter attack or to prepare an evacuation like the Battle of Hoth. Anyway these aspects are all very complex and must reach a balance. I hope we fans can contribute to that BALANCE IN THE FORCE!!!
  14. I only wish it selled out more quickly than spider man when Clones came out lolololol. I went to see it last thursday 19th and i'm already preparing myself to see it again this wednesday, this time the digital version that, from what i cleared out, is a longer version.
  15. Damn i'm realy outdated!!! I'm currently busy with the republic and Empire comics.
  16. Luke is stronger yes only because Anakin lost most of his humanity when he faced Kenobi on Mustafar and was injured in the process, thus loosing most of his power, as we may read in a passage of Shadows of the Empire, Luke has a tremendous potential like Anakin once had, anyway i thought Anakin Solo to be the strongest of the three children but i've read that he died, , as for Jacen's unexpected capabilities i'm stunned and already downloading it from emule lololololol. THANKS ONCE AGAIN JEDI2004!!!
  17. So New Jedi Order i as thought, damn i must read it ASAP, you see i'm a little bit green in that era "recent history" as i call it, i'm familiar with past and contemporary history lolololol but thanks Jedi2004
  18. I think that that picture of Ben Vs Vader is from a skirmish mission or a mutliplayer mission, while on the campaign mode it will go smooth and by the book, let us hope so otherwise its yet another, of many blows to chronology I'm intrigued with this statement: "Luke and Leia are both STRONGER in the force than Vader. The living Jedi Dream and in my opinion, the chosen one is actually in the EU. Han and Leia's son, Jacen who redescover's the shameful truth of the Jedi and unlocks the Unifying Force" PLEASE JEDI2004 Enlighten me ASAP, i must know the truth of this
  19. An interesting theory jedi2004 i can tell you that! lolololol
  20. Scale scale, from what i see in these pictures, the Nebulon Frigates are almost at he same size than the Mon Cals. The big Starships like the Imperators and Mon Cals should give us the sense of dawrfing the little ones like on Ep 4 where we see a huge Imperator chasing an insignificant Blockade Runner, or like Ep 5 when we see the glorius Executor dwarfing the almost insignificant Imperators.
  21. ahahahahah it seems they are cursed lolololol.
  22. I don't think so Colonel, in the first picture we can see some amount of energy which i belive to be the shield's bar (blue), so bye bye shieldless theory. Next we must put our passion apart and be realistic, if my counting is correct we have, 6 Y-Wings, 3 A-Wings and 13 X-Wings (i´m taking that each craft symbolizes one fighter) aside the A-Wings which are not well suited for starship's attack since they're fighter interceptors, the Y-Wing is a dedicated bomber and the X-Wing is a mix of bomber/interceptor, and you know well as i do what that damn fighter is capable of and even though for all the capabilities of the great Imperator it's suited to repel fighters, especially those nasty rebel fighters so i don't find, what we see in the pictures, all to suprising. WHEREEEE ARE THOSE DAMNED TIEs WHEN WE NEED THEM!!!!!! lolololol
  23. At last i've managed to post my photos, not all of then because there were no more space lololol. http://groups.msn.com/YodasEars/episodeiii.msnw
  24. Note: That one is brutal Sith4 LOLOLOLOLOLOL i almost fell of my chair realy, Lord Exus
  25. I feel disapointing and suffering in you Cain LOLOLOLOL, remeber the Dark Side LOLOLOL (I unfortunately agree with you Cain ) Now Now friends don't forget Grievous wasn't a force sensitive, still i was stunned too see how quickly Kenobi dealt with him in the movie, since in the Cartoons (chapter 20) the General has fought superbly many powerful Jedi like Ki, Ti, etc, anyway ep III has been stripped or tighten many amazing scenes, like the battles between Jedi/Sith, Dooku vs Ani and Obi for once, i had seen many photos, teasers, and played the game Revenge o f the Sith for my PS2, and when i saw it in the movie it was a very small sequence, Dooku was quickly eliminated , my favorite character has ever been Anakin/Vader but i confess that in my opinion not even Vader had an elegant lightsaber display like Dooku, we musn't forget the man was a master in the old lightsaber fighting style, i even read someplace and i almost agree with it, that Dooku is second only to Yoda perhaps even more then Mace, it would have been interesting to see them duel one another. As for Grievous vs Kenobi the prob is the same had that sequence been enlarged we would be given some sense of efort for Kenobi to kill Grievous. Anyway i still have hope because i read that the digital version is longer than the tape one, one of these days i must go and see it lolololololol. If you wish to exchange comments, critics, and your personal opinions, etc about the movie itself just tell where you'll post them, if not here, and i'll read them and give a more detailed insight as well . Note: Altought they love the movie some of my friends feel the same way. After posting this text i went to search for the Seven forms of lightsaber combat: lightsaber combat Lightsaber Combat is an element of the fictional lightsaber plot-detail used by Jedi and Sith in the Star Wars franchise. They are never mentioned in the Star Wars films (as of episodes I, II, IV, V, and VI being released), but they do exist in the films, the Expanded Universe, including many novels. The seven forms of lightsaber combat Form I: Shii-Cho As the new weapons technology, called the lightsaber, came into use after more primitive weapons were used, the need for a form of combat arose. Thus, Form I, also called, "Way of the Sarlacc," was born. Ancient sword-fighting traditions held key principles of blade combat that were implemented by early Jedi Masters in the rather basic technical tactics of Form I. Form I, like its succeeding forms, includes the following basic techniques and concepts: attack parry body target zones training drills called velocities Younglings, the Jedi initiate rank, first learn Form I before they begin a Padawan apprenticeship with a master. In Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, the Younglings can be seen being taught by Yoda to deflect light plasma shots. Form II: Makashi After Form I's proliferation as a saber combat technique, Form II, the, "Way of the Ysalamiri," came about as a means of lightsaber-to-lightsaber combat. It is described by many as very elegant, powerful, and requiring of extreme precision. It is very refined. Blade manipulation is at its highest level. In the time near the Clone Wars, the Jedi Order seldom practices this technique. There is, if at all, so little lightsaber-to-lightsaber combat involved in a Jedi's life that Jedi Masters have found it impractical. Darth Tyranus, from Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, has mastered Form II to the highest degree. He fights with the precision built into the ancient technique. Form II requires much focus and results in much power. Form II, wielded by Darth Tyranus, devastates the Jedi; the system of Jedi training at the time of confrontation between Darth Tyranus and other Jedi does not prepare the Jedi for the precise movements of a form bred for lightsaber dueling. Form III: Soresu After Darth Maul's defeat on Naboo, Obi-Wan Kenobi decided to perfect his practice of Form III lightsaber combat, the most defensive of all of the forms, since the Form IV practitioning Qui-Gon Jinn, Kenobi's master, was unable to hold his own against Darth Maul. Form III, the, "Way of the Mynock," was originally developed to counteract the advancing blaster technology throughout the galaxy. Those to whom the Jedi were mainly opposed usually wielded blasters now; the Jedi needed to find a method to defend that could be not replicated or be counteracted by the Jedi's blaster-wielding enemies. Laser bolt deflection training inspired the technique in Form III. It is very defensive; it has no aggressive qualities. Form III utilises motions occuring very close to the body to achieve a nearly total protection, efficiently expending as little energy as possible to execute those moves. This techniques exposes as little body target zone open areas as is possible, making a well-trained practitioner nearly invincible. Testimony to this is the fact that Ben Kenobi, a Form III master, manages to never die unwillingly throughout his life and in the Star Universe; he only dies when he chooses to let Darth Vader kill him (though one could still argue that he is invincible; he still re-appears later in the series as a Jedi Spirit). Form IV: Ataru The master practitioners of the, "Way of the Hawk-Bat," make extensive use of acrobatic maneuvers often thought not physically possible. Qui-Gon Jinn and Yoda were both masters of Form IV, as shown in their duels against Darth Maul and Count Dooku, respectively. Obi-Wan Kenobi, though already very advanced, abandoned his Ataru training in favor of Form III because he felt that his master's death demonstrated a fatal flaw of the Ataru form. In dire situations, Form IV practicioners use the Force to aid in their acrobatics. Spinning, jumping and running very fast and very high, masters of Form IV are sometimes only seen as a blur. In order to achieve the acrobatic prowess, amazing reflexes and physical punch of this form, a Jedi Master would focus on the Force, letting it flow deeply throughout his entire physicality, even allowing him to overcome the limitations of old age. Form V: Shien Form V is known for its power. It was developed by Form III practicioners that preferred a more offensive angle and felt that the defensive nature of Form III only dangerously prolonged combat. The maxim, "peace through superior firepower," encompasses the philosophy of Form V, also called the, "Way of the Krayt Dragon." Anakin and Luke Skywalker are both practitioners of Form V. Form V maintains its existence through having sufficient defensive skills, as derived from Form III, but channeling defense into offense. The example is commonly used that while Form III combatants effortlessly deflect laser bolts, Form V practicioners excel at redirecting the laser bolt toward the opponent. This at the same time defends the user and efficiently injures the enemy. Form VI: Niman The, "Way of the Rancor," Form VI was the standard style at and around the time period of the Clone Wars and the Great Jedi Purge. One can see this in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones when many of the saber-wielders on Geonosis are killed. In fact, though, all of the Jedi using Form VI were killed at the Battle of Geonosis. Form VI attempts to balance all elements of lightsaber combat; Form VI is considered a combination of Form I, Form III, Form IV, and Form V. The result is that the users' skill in each individual area of lightsaber combat is only moderate. Form VI is much less intensely demanding than other forms of lightsaber combat; this makes Form VI much more of a style suited for diplomats; they can spend their time training in the areas of politics and negotiation instead of combat training. Form VII: Juyo Dubbed the, "Way of the Vornskr," Form VII was an incomplete form for millenia. It was further developed by Jedi Master Mace Windu, who could complete it with his, "Vaapad," style. The most challenging and demanding of all forms, Form VII requires extreme, intense focus, high levels of skill, and mastery of other forms. Only two Jedi have ever mastered Form VII fully, Mace Windu and Depa Billaba. One other Jedi, Sora Bulq, mastered its physical aspects but was overwhelmed by the required mental discipline. Intrepid, somewhat direct movements are used in combination with very advanced techniques involving Force-powered jumps and motions. Form VII does not appear as, "fancy," as Form IV, but the technical details of it use very open movements. Though, Form VII is very unpredictable in battle. Form VII demands the emotional and physical intensity of Form V, but it much more effectively controls it (if mastered). Form VII, when fully mastered, results in extraordinary power. Speculative Form "Zero" Not an actual form of lightsaber combat itself, and technically not even official, Form Zero supposedly exists as the idea that a Jedi should know when to use their lightsaber and when to find another means to solve a problem. This was defined by Master Yoda. This is mostly talking about the fact that Jedi need to restrain themselves when tempted to use "Aggressive Negotiations," and instead use another well-developed Jedi skill, as the Jedi Mind Trick. Maneuvers and marks of combat All seven forms of lightsaber combat utilize these ancient terms used by the Jedi for describing the objectives, maneuver to use, and the various outcomes that could arise out of a fight involving lightsabers as weapons. Also listed is the term used to describe a re-enactment of a sword/lightsaber battle. Cho mai The term cho mai is used to describe the action of cutting off an opponent's weapon hand. This move shows that the Jedi using it has the honor to cause the opponent minimal physical damage; it also shows the skill and mastery of the Jedi performing the move to the opponent. Cho mak A cho mak is the act of cutting off an opponent's limb, such as a humanoid's leg. Cho sun The term cho sun is used to describe the move used to cut off an opponent's weapon arm. Jung A jung in lightsaber combat is a 180-degree turn. Jung ma The term jung ma is used to describe a maneuver used by Jedi to perform a 360-degree spin in which power is gained for an eminent attack on the opponent. Kai-kan The kai-kan is a re-enactment of a famous, usually ancient, very dangerous, lightsaber or even sword battle, which only very well-trained Jedi attempt to perform. Sai A sai is the term used to describe the move used by Jedi to evade an attack directed at their legs. The Jedi jumps up with the Force as the main backbone of the strength, height, and speed at which the jump is executed. Sai cha The term sai cha is used to describe the rare instance when a Jedi beheads his or her opponent. Sai tok A sai tok, frowned upon by the Jedi because of its Sith-like nature, is the act of cutting an opponent in half, usually seperating his or her legs from torso at the waist. Shiak The term shiak is used to describe the honorable action of stabbing an opponent. Shiim A shiim is a more minute, considered inferior, wound to an opponent by the edge of a lightsaber's blade. It is also considered a sign of desperation or struggle against a potent enemy. Shun The term shun is used for when a 360-degree turn is performed with just a one-handed grip, thus gaining speed for an attack. Sun djem A sun djem is a attack used by Jedi that disarms the weapon of an opponent, the objective usually being not to physically harm the opponent.
