  1. Actually the Death Star is one of the objects listed. But to actually have a full-scale Death Star... I don't know if Homeworld 2 could even support it
  2. /me points to shiplist There certainly are Star Destroyers... several of them in fact. It wouldn't be Star Wars without them. The Victory I and II, as well as the Imperator I, II, and III (ala the ISD or Imperial Star Destroyers commonly known) More on the shield generator issue http://warlords.swrebellion.com/faq.php#sub3
  3. There is RebED, and then there's the RebED Card Viewer. There is no seperate program to make cards, so I'm not sure what you are refering to.
  4. About RebED
  5. Very good stuff though, even if out of porportion. How'd you make it? I'm a big fan of the NJO setting, but there still aren't many good sources for images.
  6. First one I ever had contact with was a Colecovision? I believe that was the name... I don't remember now. Donkey Kong was so hard
  7. I still have a 486 sitting somewhere... what, I think its less than 100 mg HD.... I swear it still runs!
  8. Couldn't stop laughing - especially the Darth Vader part!
  9. Simple search reveals... Click
  10. EW, I never understood his leaving. I believe it is something to do with disrespect for his work, but I don't know the details. Rev was already gone before SWR came about. We seriously did try to find him, but never could. We really wanted the RebED source code if at all possible, but oh well...
  11. Unfortunately, my memory is so bad... I can only give names and short blurbs of who I remember: Zeblork - Zeblork's card site was one of the first I went to. Chalked full of good cards. He helped SWR's creation along with Eville Jedi and myself. EW - EW was one of the most prolifous (sp?) card makers. Card Guild leader, he created two full TCs, joining SWR as one of the leaders of the card arena. After his resigning, he asked that I remove his work. I believe he is still active in the EH community though I don't really know. Skippy - Card Guild leader, he was the one that funded the original SWR.net site. A great guy - leading the Card Guild to join our site Ash Morley - another great card maker - I don't remember meeting, perhaps retired by the time SWR came around I'm sure there are dozens of other people I'm forgetting. Sorry I can't go through the whole history, but maybe one day I'll go through all the SWR archives I have and you may get a glimse at the super-active days of card making.

  13. The Rebellion has little to do with the Seperatist movement. While they are both fighting the current reigning government, the Seperatists were created by Siduous and Dooku as a way to bring about a war and gain power. The goal was a complete seperate from the prosperous, if not corrupting, Republic. The Rebel Alliance was created from disgruntled Senators along with other's fighting the oppression of the Empire. The goal was an overthrow of the Emperor and a restoration of the Republic government. I don't see how one would go into the other. Not to mention that Siduous would have killed all the Seperatists after he no longer needed them.
  14. Note that January 2002 was the release of the phpNuke site updated to phpBB2 and so forth. We've had other forums, from EZBoards to phpBB1. So well, don't take the join dates too seriously - at least, not with us old-timers
  15. Nah, Eville was the one to start the whole aqua and green site with news, links, and such. I was merely the source of the links.... and soon helped Eville out on the site content itself. Eville will always be the original founder of the SWR site. And I remember all the people who've helped out. It's been quite a trip. Eville has a new project in Homeworld 2, and that's why I give him my full support.
  16. Looks to be a very nice space sim, http://www.starshatter.com Mod thread here: http://www.ehnet.org/mb/viewtopic.php?t=3423 I hope to see lots of future progress there. Maybe even Eville would be interested... or other modders interested in Homeworld?
  17. Download and install RebED!
  18. This really does set up an interesting scenario for 2008 - Hillary Clinton vs a new Republican candidate - who would run?
  19. The amendment not allowing gay unions is a state matter, for individual state's constitutions. The president has nothing to do with it unless it reaches a federal executive level - something that the Congress and the states have to ratify to become part of the U.S. Consitution. I don't see that happening ever. Secondly, I don't feel that President Bush is overtly pushing his religious values. He has done very little for the "religious right" and seems to keep a moderate stance. It is only the media that seems to portray him as an extremely religious man - religion is a part of his life. But it doesn't run the presidency any more than other presidents. We certainly won't see the problems like from President Clinton ~ in fact, Clinton references God in more speeches than Bush has. I won't talk on the abortion issue, because that seems to enrage people on both sides.
  20. I voted for the Libertarian. Nothing more I can say
  21. Here you go: (taken from TheForce.net) Star Wars: The Changes - Part One Star Wars: The Changes - Part Two Star Wars: The Changes - Part Three
  22. Err because the British never liked the idea of rebellions...
  23. *Topic moved to the Mods Discussion area* 1) Single player is not supported. This is mainly due to the hard-coded nature of the missions. 2) I recommend going to the RelicNews Forums HW1 mod area and look at what they have for editing. Mainly, it requires numerous tools and 3D experience. http://forums.relicnews.com
  24. If we playing this absurb blame game, then we can certainly blame the Europeans for colonizing America in the first place I've said my fill about the European Union. Keep it clean people. Let's not end this thread in flaming.
  25. Force Commander and other game soundtracks were at http://soundtracks.mixnmojo.com/ But apparently they've been taken down, sorry. The original movie soundtracks are copywrited material and cannot be distributed online.
