Anderson let the ten remaining spots open for other writers to make references to in their own novels. Ex: *blank* was brother to *blank*, who was one of the 13 Imperial warlords executed on Mount Tsoss Beacon... Something like that. I remember reading only one case like that, but unfortunately I can't remember where, when, or what the exact exerpt was...
