Well try selecting your mesh and selecting all the faces. Now at the bottom of the face options there should be something like Auto smooth. enter a value like 45 and click"AutoSmooth. I don't know if this trick works in Gmax but i highly recommend you try and cut up your modela dn amke it in several pieces it always makes things easier and easy to rectifiy any mistakes.

Could you perhaps post screenshots of your modelling and the blueprints you are using for the ship. I am having slight problems understanding your problem. Don't forget that in rebellion its more the textures which play a role rather than the modelling.

Open an image in Photoshop. Cut out the bit you want to be the hologram and paste it in a new layer. Now create a new picture with settings of: 2 pixels in height and one across Make the top pixel black and leave the bottom one white. Now press Edit>set as pattern Now go back to the first pic. Change the Hue and saturation to get the hologram-blue shade. NOw press Layer> Add layer clipping path> Reveal all Select the pattern wejust made and click ok Hope it helps

Well basically i am always thinking that reading EVERY book of a serie is a good idea. Then you won't have moments like: "Core what is that! Coruscant was attacked. How come i didn't know!?!"

Well the french governement is in a hard position. You see the president had been campagning for the Yes so its not sure how he will react. I think he will try and keep the confidence of the french people.
