  1. Ya Cain, if it is not too much trouble, I would like use the proggy on the AI so that I could set the best possible settings for them.
  2. Yes cause I was never around for these "old" days heheh
  3. Hey Paul, good to see another New Yorker around these worldwide forums eh.
  4. ya we do. Do you have it >>
  5. Hmph. I think I'm going to experiment some more with ship costs then.
  6. As long as they present a challenge, nothing else matters, eh.
  7. Hah.Heh. I jus finished a game a few days ago that took me about a week to play. 4300 days or close to that. Also, How did you lose to the computer !!! Tell me how to lose !!
  8. Wow 80 ships, most I've seen from the other side is in the 40s and I lowered their costs too.
  9. Ah Europa Universalis is such a great game. Anybody here would love it.
  10. Annnnnnd loving it
  11. They make good games. That's undisputable. But the reason we are here discussing this is because all they need to do is make one more space strategy game. And then, "their skills" it will be complete...
  12. Yes they are definitley very cautious.
  13. The more enemy ships... the better

  15. Heh, one day.
  16. It's about time Lucasarts slows down on their production of FPS game and actually goes back to producing Starwars games that take place in space.
  17. You don't hate this game. Nobody does
  18. Lemme know what results you get while tweaking the costs
  19. Cain, I've been playing the new TC for a 100 days or so. I like the new design of the galaxy, models, people, etc. But I'm curious how you made the AI better. So far there have been some minor engagements but no battles. And how do you ensure that they build fleets with gravity ships ? should their costs be lowered? But a great job you are doing.
  20. It's almost impossible to lose a game. If you play as the Empire, the Rebellion never attacks Coruscant. I once started a game on hard and gave up all my planets except for Coruscant. It still took them 200 days or so to come to it and win.
  21. Well they didn't use CC-7700's so I was able to escape and choose my own fights. And haha also, they didnt have 600 ship fleets. Those ships were spread all around the galaxy. I wish they had included bulwarks though, and the gravity ships. Would've made winning A LOT harder.

  23. Hah well what I had done was severely cut the Rebel ship costs in the idea that they could present a challenge. And they would've actually presented a challenge had they built gravity well ships to prevent me from retreating. But they didn't so I was able to pick my battles = ( But in this particular battle, I had around 45 ISD II's, 3 SSD's,a DS and a few smaller craft like lancers and escort carriers. They had about 38 Dauntless' half that MC's, and a number of escort carriers and blockade runners. I'm not actually a fan of big fleets but in this case I had no choice. I had to eliminate this fleet of theres so I combined 3 of mine, hence the 3 SSD's; a command ship for each fleet. If you guys are looking for a challenge, this is the way to do it. Just cut the other side's ships costs to extreme low levels. In this game, the rebels had close to 600 Dauntless's patrolling around. At my prime, I had about 66 ISD II's. I also used one of Cain's Admirals Nightmare scenarios. The ones where the entire galaxy starts off Rebel.
  24. It is easy. It's basically the same as the other TC's.
