  1. Heh. From some strange reason I feel that it would be better if we only compared fighters we can play as. I mean, AI TIE Fighters are inferior to everything, but X-Wings are easy for a human controlling one.
  2. Oops, wrong sig...
  3. No it has'nt...and that's why I added it.
  4. Hey...wait a moment there. I can say that the C-Wing\E-Wing\TIE Defender\ Jedi Starfighter 's cool too, but it won't be very interesting, since everyone knows they're supreme. At least try to pick something you can use in X\W Vs. T\F... I could easily pick the TIE Defender, but that's easy since it has better STATS then everything. So I picked the TIE Interceptor, which is well rounded but not perfect.
  5. That's what I meant...so he has a few lines except for "Put Mr. Solo in the cargo hold".
  6. No, he also argued with Vader a bit in the freezing area.
  7. Many games were made that way. Just search for keywords "Classical remake, fan-made, open-source,freeware". You should find some.
  8. They're very frustrating.
  9. It's like that: When I started playing TIE Fighter, I really liked the TIE Fighter itself. It was so fun flying in the general direction of a bunch of Y-Wings while keeping them on the left (to avoid running into laser death), then turn immediately after bypassing them, sitting right on their tail. X-Wings were fun too, and A-Wings-when I got that Interceptor. But then comes the first Gunboat mission. The mission is - destroy a minefield in a craft barely capable of avoiding the turrets without becoming very vulnerable. Even TIE Bombers could do that. TIEs in general are very hard to hit, except on the sides. The point in the game was to beat shielded craft with shieldless ones, using speed and agility for defense. The Gunboat just seemed pointless. Mines are easier in an Interceptor. Disabling large warships requires you to survive their proximity. So maybe if it's engaged with another one, but otherwise, I can't do it.
  10. You mean...deep space combat? Not in Star Wars...unless you want to combine it with improved Interdictors?
  11. John Williams-Seven Years in Tibet (Main)
  12. (Watch it. You could lose a handkerchief that way, and as a jedi you should know-your handkerchief is your life.)
  13. Of the fighters mentioned above, I prefer TIE Interceptor the most. The TIE Fighter's shape makes it extremely hard to hit from behind... In the TIE Interceptor, only the A-Wings are a match. No shields is simply a bonus; not only you get the best starfighter in the X-Wing series (except for Defender obviously), it's also VERY simple to use. But the real reason I like TIE Interceptors, is that I simply HATE ASSAULT GUNBOATS!!!!
  14. Look, it's simple: We can put Crazy Hungarian Ninja and Insane British Scouttrooper on an abduction mission to Skywalker Ranch. It may be useful to let Masked German Jedi and US American Dark Jedi disable the defenses first though. Then, Weird British Emperor and a Brilliant Costa Rican Warmaster could lead a ground assault on the entire "San-Rafael" system... The "persuasion" part could be left to Dweeby Dutch Swissknife...Astromech, Texan Bounty Hunter, Texan Golden Bikini Girl, and Rumanian Mangaltrooper-Cleric .
  15. No, it turned to none the day you left #3 and decided to go with #2 instead...
