  2. Thanks Admiral, in fact I did not find this thread. Unfortunally it doesn't answer all my questions... If I understand correctly, the only way to increase the rate of fire without increasing the damage per minute would be to reduce the firepower?
  3. Did anybody play with the recharge settings? I would like to know, whether this setting only changes the visual effects or also the damage per minute caused. If it changes both, I would have to reduce the firepower of a ship, when I increase the recharge speed.
  4. I agree, Christian Hayden is absolutly inable as an actor. When a boy in an Ewok film for childreen is whining all the time, I can understand. (I would do too, if I would have to play such a role.) But Hayden considers himself as a real actor... I really can't take him serious in this scenes, where he does try to look grim and evil. Okay, okay, to be fair I have to confess that he has a really really really terrible dubbing voice over here.

  6. In the rebellion editing sector of this forum is a topic named "Hyperspace values for "others"". At the end of the topic is a discussion, that you can't raise hyperspace speed od objects but you could move the position on planets closer to each other, which would have the same effect. I did not try this out, because I don't think there is a need to do so, but perhaps it helps out you a little bit?
  7. Well, Darthronar, perhaps you'd like to tell us about your ideas? If we are lucky, we can win some people for helping with this TC. Important one: We would need one or two modelers. The mask was talking about something like 5 ships. There must be 5-7 another ships in KotOR. If there are too few ship-classes we could make a mk1 and mk2 version of each capital ships. Only problem: I can't remember seeing one transporter.
  8. Well, of course it won't hurt to flatten all layers to one. But doesn't have bmps allways just one layer? But you are right, better first merge the layers before saving it.
  9. There is another way to apply a pallete to a new picture: Open both the original and the new picture, resize the new picture to the correct size, then copy and paste the new picture as a new selction over the original picture and save under a new file-name. This way is a little bitte faster and no irfanview is needed.
  10. You do need a 1:1 ratio of refinerys and mines in overall not on every planet. So you can have refinery- and mining-planet without a problem. 1 refinery and 1 mine together generates 50 construction points. To see how many mines and refinerys you have all togehter, left click on your advisor-droid an choose "galaxy overview". There you see the total number of all buildings, ships and troops you have from each type. (Including mines and refinerys.) Important is only "construction points=..." (the rest is nonesense), meaning the construction points you have left for maintainance. In your chase you can build ships, troops, and buildings with a total maintanance cost of another 764. As an advice: I would start building new refinery/mines soon, because building them need some time and 764 is not very much if you start building capital ships.

  12. Wow, Evaders! I mean that was quick! You know to encourage your people. I will start to work on the next cards. By the way: If some of the more experienced card-makers have some advises to improve my work, let me hear (or read) them.
  13. Well, I uploaded only a few rccs, nothing sensational. The cards names are: "Bultar Swan" (an asian looking female Jedi seen at Geonosis) "Aayla Secura" (I know, this card allready exist, but I used a different picture I prefer) "Edcel Bar Gane" (a Roona alien senator from Episode 2) And because of some posts about KotOR I read in this forum: "Bastila Shan" "Juhani" "Albino Juhani" (Well, as the name says, an albino version of the card above) I hope someone will find them usefull.

  16. All right, I think it is time to make a total noob of me. I just tried to upload some rcc-files. As far as I know, I did everything as usual, but I am getting an quite anoying message: All right now, am I doing anything wrong or is it a technical problem?
  17. An escort of Lancer Frigates or Interdictor Cruisers for example won't be a bad idea. Both ships have powerfull laser weapon which are quite effective against fighters. Anything bigger than an fighter you can wipe out with the Death Star in no time.
  18. Well, I think a KotOR TC would be real fun, but would it make sense to do so? JediIgor is right, there are really not many ships in the games. And even there would be, you had to alter the ship models also. Anyway... It would be a pleasure to me, to help creating some cards.
