It can happen. There's no stopping them. They will keep on trying to escape.
  3. Yup, I'll go make a RebEd card of him (Very high diplomacy skills) And what about the rest of the parlement?
  4. We'll send in OUR queen sure she'll kick ass. Queen Beatrix with Family or our Prime Minister: Balkenende Reloaded the dutch are - master Yoda Yeh that's our queen. We will Name our ships Queen Beatrix, Prins Alexander, Prinses Maxima, Prins Bernard, and so on. And for the prime minister, he will get a ship called Harry Potter.
  5. I see you have played more with the Rebed then I did, I just know about it. I just played one game with Rebed. And I noted that I really need al larger fleet when I lower the Maintenance. So I'm still experimenting with Rebed. And I must say that I'm very impresed with the result so far. The fight for the galaxy is biger and harder. And I LIKE IT. I see that you mostly use the smaller ships in the game. I think you upgraded them so that those ships are stronger. I mostly use the big ships and Load them up with fighters. This gives me an offensive punch agenst ISD, VSD and the rest of those kind. Plus the newer ships are faster.
  6. The reason wy you then lose the game is because you can't compleet your objectives. But when for instance you play as the rebbels you can also lose your HQ, but you can still win the game. Only you have to be on your gard. Becaus you can't let Luke or Mon Mothma be captured. Then You Will lose.

To have a fleet as fishing net is one of the reasons you should put a fleet in orbit. The secoond reason is, that when an enemy fleet arrives you can defend yous plannet. Even if its your HQ, Prison, Shipyard planet, or what ever plannet you want. And you should all so place some fighters on your world, because they all so reduce the chance of escap. When you use a fleet to move your prisoners, the one reason there are no escapes is becaus your opponent cant find them and send a rescue mission. But when you use a plannet and have the right defenses, the rescue mission will most likly be detected, and that means you have more prisoners unles the mission is preformd bij spec. forces. What can even help you some more is, that you place a jedi Master as admiral of the fleet in orbit. Or as the general on the plannet. reduces the chance of escape even more. And even when it happens that a prisoner escapes, It will return to the nearest plannet that has joined to his side. Except when he was freed by a rescue mission. then he will go to the plannet from where the mission comes.
  8. I can't agree with you more on that part. And I see you know as much as I do about that. But when you send one of you characters on an espionage mission, the character will improve his or hers espionage skill by one. And when all enemy stuff has been sabotaged I let my character, who have leaders skill, preform uprise mission. This while for instans Chewie and the characters like him preform espionage missions to inprove their espionage skills, and to get me info. about the rest of the enemy plannets. And mostly I have a fleet with about 10 mon cals, 10 Liberators, 20 Nebulon-Bs, 10 Assault Frigats and 1 or 2 cc7700s. That fleet gives me enough fighters to repel an imperial fleet.
  9. When your finished, let me know. I want to play your Babylon 5 mode.
  10. Well I'm Dutch. and I'm proud of it. But that's not why I'm here, I'm here because I'm a star wars fan and I like playing Rebellion. So let's PLAY!!!
  11. Hey buddy, what's here? what has arrived? And I think you love to play the Empire. Am I right? Well as a player how playes both sides, wy don't you try the rebbel side for ones.
  12. This is a tactic I all ready use. Its very productive. One tip I can give you is that you do an espionage mission, when this mission is succesfull you can see if there are any spec. forces there. Usually there are. What you do next is let your characters do sabotage the spec. forces and you will see when the compleet the mission their combat and espionage improves with one piont each.

Your right about that. But by the time I have the planet ready and the fleet my Maintenance an refined material is more then sufficend. And with the fleet there an enemies fleet will be destroyed. And that means the enemy cann't use that fleet anymore. Giving me more breathing space.
  14. You only get traitor's when your populair support get low. This can happen when you lose battles or planet's. This doesn't mean you have to retire them, becaus when your poppulair support improves enough, your character will "return to the flock". It happend to me more then ones.

Boshek is right. My advise is to use the spec. forces. then you can still use your characters for missions. And yes I know the storyline is deferent. But sometimes I like to coppy the storyline.

When i play the imperial side i usually make Kessel my prison planet. I do this becaus in one of the pocket books this is the place where the empire kept there prisoners. I defend the planet whit 4 star destroyer and interdictor, 24 T-Def. and Daala as Admiral. and on the planet 1 Ion cannon, 2 Laser II, and 2 Shield II. and some troops.[/b]
