Well, that site has changed significantly since I first posted it a few days back. I must say, a squealed quite happily when I saw CG Thrawn, and he didn't look wonky like Vader or Yoda. CG animation seems to be the direction most Star Wars is headed, if the video on StarWars.com and then this video (fan reaction) are anything to gauge. I'm not sure I like making serious parts of Star Wars look so...well, goofy and cartoonish, but it certainly fills a certain void now that we no longer have film debuts to await. Besides, this is a perfect opportunity to, for a fraction of the cost of making a live-action movie (I think...), see famous EU bits (like Thrawn, Fel, Daala, Yuuzhan Vong, etc) on the screen. This is actually rather exciting, reminiscent of those years from the Shadows of the Empire marketing campaign in the run-up to the Special Editions. At least, reminiscent to those of us who were young (or felt young) then and can't remember (due to a lack of life) the release of the originals.
