  2. I didn't expect so. I have a friend who lives in Switzerland and he doesn't have it. I also have a friend in Belgium, and he doesn't have it either. Must suck.
  3. Guess... What's with your "Guess..." thing, Scath?

You're right! :: turns to zoot with a blaster :: I won't ask you again, cat, where is Han Solo?
  5. You got me quiet... Excellent. One step closer to completing my masterplan. . . .
  6. Sjeez, SOCL! Just go to Google, type in "Seven of Nine" and see the results! Consider any image material a reward... Okay, Seven of Nine is a character in Star Trek: Voyager . . . what's your point? I think we'd already figured that from your posts... What's that suppose to mean?
  7. Could you clarify on this adult swimming hobby of yours, or is this one of those don't ask things? My apologies, Scath and those others who do not know what Adult Swim is; I should have explained it. Adult Swim (at least here in the USA) is a block of programing on Cartoon Network that comes on on weeknights from 9 PM-1 AM (I believe) and has mature, adult oriented shows. http://www.adultswim.com
  8. Oh goodness. Apparently ignorance rules over "yes" and "no". Didn't it always? As I was once told by, sadly, a very ignorant and stupid friend: "Ignorance is bliss".
  9. Do NOT tarnish the name of Thrawn! He would save you from the rebels who arrogantly declared themselves a new Republic! He was the best tactician of all time and deserves our respect! Again: SCATH!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE?!?!?!?!?
  10. SCATH!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE?!?!?!?!?!?
  11. The Gamorreans would actually want to trade a hyperdrive ship for Trejiuvanat??? I say go for it!!! I aree, go for it! Those piggies are probably stupid enough that you could offer to rip them off and they would agree.
  12. Quick off topic comment About my avatar: My mom was walking by and looked at it and said: "Who made the weird cartoon of you?" I was like, "what the hell?" She handed me a mirror and . . . HOLY CRAP! The goatee, the sideburns, the messed up hair, the computer geek stuff, the STAR WARS fan . . . I am Gimpy!
  13. I don't want to get into a discussion (which will get VERY drawn out) about the ultimate fate of dinosaurs and the different theories and the like. For once, I'll stay silent on this matter (maybe I'll get back to it tomorrow). BRUHAHAHA! All part of my masterplan to take over the world! I can see it now: Emperor SOCL: Taking over the world one forum at time.
  14. I beg to differ. I believe Thrawn was both a genius tactician and genius politician. Evidence of the former is evident throughout the books, but the latter can only be seen in a few scenes. For example, he is clearly a politician when he negotiated with other governments to go under Imperial control, yet keep their own governments intact. That is being a politician. He didn't rule the Empire with a hammer of fear like the Emperor did (that was one of the biggest causes of loss of support for Palpatine), but instead ruled through a different manner that allowed governments other than the Empire to exist. He knew how to handle system and sector governments to the point they were practically begging to join the Empire (as read and interpreted in Dark Force Rising). You also see Thrawn's master politician at work through Flim, who was acting as Thrawn in the Hand of Thrawn duology. In that he negotiated, using Thrawn's influence, charisma, and genius (which he studied thoroughly), to bring entire planetary systems to the side of the Empire without a shot fired. If all of that is not evidence of Thrawn being a politician, then I don't know what is.
  15. I didn't think that you, Trej, a person of such high standing, would dare to allow the name of Thrawn to be tarnished (no that was not written in sarcasm) . . . because if you did. . . .
  16. That sounded rather sardonic.
  17. Sorry, I do not wish to tarnish the name of Thrawn.
  18. I'm so happy I have no idea what you're talking about. Ignorance is bliss!
  19. In the funny one, probably (that is, the one that has a Corellian in it who believes in odds and includes Joba the Feet). The serious one, of course, shall not.
  20. To me it seemed as if Thrawn was aiming to destroy the Rebellion/Republic and reestablish the Empire as the dominant force/government in the galaxy. After that had been accomplished, I'm quite sure he would have been ruler of the Empire for some time as order would come to be established, but I seriously doubt he would have declared himself Emperor. Instead I think he would have eventually stepped down as ruler of the Empire and handed it over to a civilian (a Grand Moff or some other high ranking politician). I doubt he ever planned to Emperor himself. I also seriously doubt he planned to reenstate the New Order as Palpatine saw it, but instead ammend much of it to include non-humans and women.
  21. Yes, it is characteristic of most people to lose interest (or at least the majority of their interest) in dinosaurs at en early age. That is why dinosaurs are now more associated with kids than any other age group.
  22. My favorite! Specifically Protoceratops! Where? Indeed! What state? Where will the talk be held? Have any idea what it might be (any speculation)? Glad to have one too! Take that, Scath and Trej! I told you I could find a friend! WOOHOO! One post ago I was promoted to commander!
  23. Again, the story that shall include Scath, Trej, wormie, zoot, and others is a story that takes place in the STAR WARS universe, but describes the events of the galaxy as seen through the eyes of normal beings (in other words: no Jedi, no stormtroopers, just the normal Joe on the street who tries to stay out of problems with both sides). If you're confused because I mentioned another story with Thrawn, then realize that they are two seperate stories, the other I discussed in a different thread, but sometimes people bring info over from other threads (I know I do). Just a heads-up.
  24. Damnit, Anby, thanks for the spoiler! Well, I already knew that from Specter of the Past so nevermind.
  25. But in a story such as mine, where Thrawn is the one who stumbles across Palpatine's clones and his warmachine at Byss, the tables have turned and it is up to Thrawn whether Palpatine's clones are in fact a valuable tool. Again, I won't give away what Thrawn does in my story, but anyway you look at it, with Thrawn at the head of all operations, one can see it working out for the Thrawn's planing of the Empire's ultimate victory.
