I was raised in a VERY christian family (my dad was a Southern Baptist preacher for the first 15 years of my life, and now is a Methodist preacher). I do believe in God. I do believe in Evolution. I have an older (I bought it last year) ipod (20GB). I must say, I love it!!! I usedit all summer while I was hiking and writting and now I use it everyday when I work. The job I have involves loud noise for extended periods of time, so I wear headphones anyway, so I just put my iPod on and work the day away. It has also been great for trips (when my iTrip is working right). I have my entire thesis backed up on it and 15 days worth of non-stop music. So, I love mine! Best investment I have made in a long time. I saw a color screened one the other day that was nice, but mine is still working well so I will hold off on buying a new one. The b/w screen can be hard to see sometimes on mine.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!! It sounds like almost everyone had a good Christmas (sorry to hear about your job Defender_16). I just got home from seeing my family and friends. It was a really nice time. I got 2 sweaters, 2 books, some random crap, a table cloth, an odd jewlery box, a silly frilly purse with feathers on it (will probably never use but it make a great cat toy), and a pillow shaped like a dinosaur. Cool!! What kind?

I really like Forrest Gump! I own the DVD and soundtrack (whichis so good I had to buy another one to replace my scratched up cd's). The movie is based on a book, which I did not like as well as the movie (it is pretty diffrent in some places). And, as far as I know, no one ever mooned Nixon while getting a metal. I think that was all in a computer.

Aww...glad to know I have been missed! I am here now. I was gone for a week visiting family. I check the boards everyday that I am at home now, so I am here, even if I am only lurking. nope, you are correct. I am a she.
