That's actually rather funny. Annoying, I imagine, but funny. Have you thought about checking the science teachers at the local middle and high schools? A lot of them like having animals in the classroom. Ya, I have a gunea pig as was warned about this problem when I thought about getting him a buddy. He seems to have homosexual tendancys though, so we thought it best to continue to let his think he is a cat and live alone. I hear that the pigs can even breed while they are in diffrent cages, quite the feat I imagine! Good luck with that, I suggest putting them on diffrent sides of the rooma nd that should end you problem (they have bad eyesight)

Ouch! Sorry to hear about your problems. Women can be just as bad as men! We're all crazy... The publications coming out in May are over my work in Glacier National Park this summer (particuarly over the Precambrian fossils) and then the other paper is over fish fossils known from National Park units. I will be giving a talk over the fish one at a meeting in May. I am trying to stay busy with the papers. Good luck on your current searches!!

I think it is fair to say that you can go to any state and find rednecks. I have been to Alaska and have seen folks who you would probably classify as being in that class. I just think it is wrong to try and calssify people. Its all just a way to make us feel better about ourselves by looking down on someone else. Not entirely true. There are a lot of rednecks in Illinois. Nothing compared to Arkansas, I can assure you... but probably more then Oregon. Hello!! Can you be more rude.
