i had an experience with bad AI. i was defending sullest with three golan defence platforms each with enough firepower to tango with a super nad out pops a imp mark II and a couple star galeons. i thought maybe my golans could handle it without me and i asked the computer to do it. boom!! "rebel fleet destroyed" im like wtf impossible. the ai on reb sucks bad.

I use only only troops and sometimes fighter squadrans on important planets. it works for me, maximizing my space for mines and refinaries.

once i was playing a game against the rebels as the imps. i mangaed to locate a small fleet. i took my death star and an asssortment of destroyers to sack the fleet and raise support in the system to my cause. but i bit off more than i could chew. there were many small rag tag ships but had an mc-90 that was blasting the crap out of my destroyers the battle was looking hopeless until i was looking at the little thing in the right hand corner that was a green bar and had a pic of the death star. i clicked on the button at the end and got a targeting recticle. i was interested and right clicked on the mc90. the death star crew then said preparing to fire the death stars main cannon, and then it shot the mc90 with a giant green laser. i have been playing for years and just noticed this abilitie. do you all know it could do this?

Im not reallly trying to argue over how the battle was unfair or technical readouts of a battle station, its just hard for me to find anyone to discuss and show my knowledge of Star Wars and EU with. My friends are stuck playing Halo.

Natural Diasasters suck! Im playing a game where one happens every 100 days and its eating away at my fleet!! I wont have anything to take over the hand full of rebel planets at this rate.

I have two things to add to this discussion. First: Glandry, Obi-wan was trained by Yoda before he was taken as a padawan by Qui-gon. Second: Concerning time of the battle and Death Star recharge rate, In the book Essential guide to Vehicles and Vessels it states that the Second death star's super laser could be recharged in a matter of minutes instead of hours. I hope this info isnt to late but o well.

I voted for Zahn, but it was tough for me because i started on Allston and feel some loyalty to him and i really enjoyed the Wraith squadron books.

Hi im new to the site because i recently started playing rebellion again. I was wondering if the models for some of the other ships like Allegiance SSD are available. i got the War lords tc to work and the pictures of ships look awsome but when you go to battle they are their old styles. Can nebody help me on this?

I think that the Empire will live on forever!!!!! HAIL THRAWN AND HIS TACTICAL GENOIUS!!!! Na, really, the Empire was doomed to failure with Palpy at the head, but i think it could have survived under Thrawn. It would have been a different Empire, but better for the people of the galaxy. And it makes you wonder, if Thrawn had won against the Rebellion, would he be able to repulse the Vong.

I recently stumbled upon this site and have found the downloads for the game. i was reallly interested and have been trying to put them into the game by following directions but it never works. If you have any ideas please respond. Thanks P.S. Long live the Empire!
