You need the CD for MOO 2. Trust me I've tried. Best game ever made. *Just finished wiping the Psilons off the face of the galaxy.*

Parsecs across the galaxy, Fel disengaged his HoloNet transciever. He stared down at his desk and collapsed into the fabric. Rising, he opened the portal of the communications suite that he had been occupying and strode down the corridors at a quick pace until he reached the hanger. There he saw technicians swarming over craft in various stages of disrepair and moved to the far corner of th bay. A small alcove hid his A-Wing, Alliance white with green trim - the fastest combat fighter in the fleet. He looked over to the astromech encased in the body of his craft and unsealed the canopy. Quickly flowing through the preflight checklist, he readied his craft for launch, and without bothering to wait for authorization, exited the hanger. At his signal he was joined by three other A-Wings, similarly marked. Another transmission, and in a flash, the flight leapt into hyperspace.

Rebellion isn't alone in that regard. For instance, the creators of StarCraft left incomplete units of a cargo freighter, gunship, spaceport buried inside the game.

Enter~That's painted red, with a big white grain silo?

OOC: Wow! I love this! I can talk without moving my lips. IC: "Intelligence reports - confirmed by a reconnisance flyby - cite abnormally high amounts of thermal activity in the reactors of twenty-six of the two-score warships defending the Braxtant Sector shipyards, indicating a massive mobilisation of forces. Subsequent runs on major fleet centers in the adjacent sectors of Imperial space have revealed similar trends. Futhermore, earlier today, the cruiser Dark Gnome, disappeared along with a disproportionate percentage of the Empire's commanding staff of officers, another sign of an approaching offensive. Our enemies our preparing for war, and we had best ready ourselves to meet them."

I've had Han captured: It sucked. I pretty much wiped out half [Leia and Luke] of my entire Alliance diplomatic corps for about two hundred days. I've never seen a character defect, though. I've seen them betray missions [Diplomatic missions foiled out in the Outer Rim without my intervention], but never actually turn on my side. Igor - I thought that Chewie couldn't defect. Doesn't he have the "never betray side" flag?

I did see that. I got hidious red x's for all of those URLs.

Sounds great. Unfortunately, I can't see the pictures so I can't render judgement.

Okey, let's see if I can explain this better. You're in the GUI. You have changed the Noghri to a Royal Guardsman. All three icons have been changed. You click on the computer console at the bottom of the interface which brings up a page with a list of all the special forces units on all systems in the game. The noghri icon still hasn't changed.

Methinks he refers to "Real Star Wars Universe."

Uhm... you know what I'm talking about. The helmet of the stormtrooper you click on to see what troops of what kind you have where... Anyhow, it always pissed me off how whenever I used RebEd it never changed the icons in the troops overview. I could change a Noghri to a Royal Guardsman and yet it would still show the Noghri icon in that section. How do you change that? Am I making any sense at all?

The Empire was not the only faction readying for the approaching hostilities: far across the galaxy the Rebel Alliance to Restore the Republic was holding a similar convention. Inside the conference room aboard the escort frigate Pride of Chandrila, the senior officers - some aboard the vessel and others present only in hologram - of the various Alliance branches assembled in silence. A projector flickered in the corner of the room, projecting a helmeted man dressed in the orange uniform of Starfighter Command. A line of text identified the standing figure as Commodore Zachary Fel, commander of Emerald Squadron and veteran of the escape from Outpost Bravo. A burst of static momentarily disolved the image, but the hologram quickly recomposed itself.

*l* No, for me Rebellion just makes me pissed off that the Rebels won in the movies and makes me what to annihilate them from the game, which in turn makes me play more Rebellion.

Now, thanks to the Republican revolution in Congress, Bush can do whatever he wants.

I don't understand why you continue to fixate upon the people who ordered the gas attack. Have you ever considered for a moment in your cynicism that maybe - just maybe - that the decision was based on the value of human not a disregard for it? I for one applaud their decisive actions, regardless of the outcome; the policy makers had their backs to the wall, and instead of debating their possible courses of action, they were not deterred from opting to effect a winning (if controversial) solution. Even their refusal to disclose the composition of the gas is somewhat understandable due to the possible political repercussions.

Heh heh. Yeah. The Linux penguin will scare ANYONE away. I have ME, and it works fine for me, however. I wonder what I'm doing wrong.
-
*Laughs* Yeah, the movies do want to make you go out and play Rebellion, don't they.

Easy way out of the Jabba problem, just rename the hut to another Hutt out to avenge Jabba.

I suggest that we make one set in the Vision of the Future timeline. That way, the Rebels would replace the Empire, situated on Coruscant, and the Empire would replace the Alliance, based on Bastion.
