Well, we have a topic somewhat like this for books, so why not movies? Now, I'm sure everyone is going to post at least one STAR WARS film  , but be sure to post other of your favorite films. No, this is not blasphemy, but if you insist: Name your second favorite movies (if you're that hardcore of a fan).

Here's mine in no particular order:

    -The Empire Strikes Back
    -Return Of the Jedi
    -Jurassic Park
-Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack (anime)
    -Gladiator
    -A Beautiful Mind
-Master and Commander: On The Far Side Of The World
    -Mobile Suit Gundam I (anime)
-Mobile Suit Gundam II: Soldiers Of Sorrow (anime)
-Mobile Suit Gundam III: Encounters In Space (anime)
-COWBOY BEBOP: Knockin' On Heaven's Door

Okay, my list seems pretty, long, but it's the truth. :P

Return of the Jedi - why? Space battle, enough said :) That's my favorite Star Wars movie.

Lord of the Rings - well, now that I've seen all of them.. I still can't pick my favorite. That will just have to be seen over time. /me waits for ROTK extended now

Matrix - why not? The last one was a sorta disappointment, but still a good movie. No favorite yet. Ditto above about time.

I'm trying to think of some older movies, but my mind is going blank right now. Oh well, maybe I'll see some I can add from other posts.

Here is my list in no particular order:-

1. The Empire Strikes Back ( a must for any budding Empire player!! )

2. Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid ( Steve Martin's best film )

3. Clay Pigeons ( Joachim Phoenix )

4. Some Like It Hot

5. The Producers ( funniest film ever made, in my opinion )

6. Young Frankenstein

7. The Mission ( De Niro, the soundtrack is wonderful )

8. Seven ( Morgan Freemans performance is brilliant )

9. The Return of the Pink Panther.

10. The Ladykillers

11. The Shawshank Redemption

12. Spartacus

13. El Cid

14. The Terminator

15. The Madness of King George III

I could go on but the list is far too long already. SOCL's Jurrasic Park and Gladiator are also excellent films, I just wish Jurrasic and been made with a more adult audience in mind ( it was too tame considering those primeval creatures!!!)

You have failed me for the last time

Oh yea

Monty Python and the Holy Grail :)

I'm a Python fan. All the movies are good, but Holy Grail is classic.

This is my favourite Python film too. Whats your favourite scene?

Mine is 'The Tale of Sir Galahad', with the immortal lines:-

Dingo:- She has been very naughty. You must spank her. And after you have spanked her you can do with her as you like. And then you must....Spank me ( cries of 'and me, and me ' from the maidens). And after the spanking... the oral sex.

Sir Galahad the Chaste:- Well I suppose I could stay a bit longer.

Brilliant :D

Here are mine, although I'm not much of a movie watcher.

Original SW Trilogy (of course)

LotR (all three are great, with ROTK being the best one)

In the name of the Father

Planet of the Apes (1968 version)

The Pianist

Spaceballs

There are some other... I just can't remember them right now...

EDIT: After having watched ROTK, it is definetely one of my favs.
