Anakin pic (Spoiler)

Found this on Hyperspace on the official website. Now what with special effects and all, it would be easy to change this, but notice the colour of Anakin's lightsaber... it's red... hmmmm, and also appears to be the classic 'Vader' design.... Also i'm liking the slightly aged, paler, battle weary face, with the interesting scar by the eye, which isn't seen in ROTJ.

You may still have it in your caché.... I can't see neitehr with IE nor with Mozilla, so it may be the image you're linking at. Are you linking to the original pic in the hyperspace members area? Or did you upload it to one site that allows remote-linking? Again it might just be me... Sadly there doesn't seem to be anyone else online, to provide a third opinion.

If you remember ROTJ you should know that he is more machine then human, according to the ghost of Ben Kenobi, plus if you read the pocketbooks you should know that that scare can be removed with a little bit of Bacta. That stuff can almost cure every thing.

First, because of the lightsaber, which Elvis already pointed out, has a Vaderish look and also that he has begun to wear a glove in his right hand. That might seem trivial but in the AOTC ending, and of what I saw in the Clone Wars cartoon Anakin didn't wear any glove.

So Anakin, say "cheese" before you fall into that ugly lava pot...

Hey, I just thought of something. I have a lot of friends who are always talking about how Episode III will have to cover a lot to catch up with A New Hope, but I always tell them it doesn't and don't seem to understand why they don't get that. Well, today it struck me: A) they're not STAR WARS freaks like us, and B) they think that Episode III will cover everything from the end of AOTC to the start of ANH. They never thought the movies didn't have to cover everything, did they?

Do you all get what I'm saying? Do any of you find yourselves with similar people?

The black glove also gives him the Vaderish look.

Yes, indeed, as SOCL says you haven't been around enough... At school I don't remember any frineds having any problems with SW, even some friends are SW fans...The other they cared little for it, although the girls found Ewoks to be really cute... In a rather annoying way...

Dude, you forgot all the plastic surgeries after stupidly triping into the lava pit (but not really).

Yeah, that's right, I don't like Anakin! As far as I'm concerned, he got too close to the stove after an arguement with Obi-Wan and burned himself with a pot of hot greese. All that mechanical gibberish and giant suit...yeah, that's a coverup. And the story about the dual over a volcano or what-not: well, he made it up to sound cool and since no one else could neither confirm nor deny it, the story stuck as "true". Additionally, he killed all the Jedi because he was very much like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (except he was Anakin the Red-Lightsabered Jedi) and he only wanted to play those damned Jedi games (like Force Monopoly and Stone the Sith).

Your argument sounds pretty convincing.... But you were missing some facts there. First Anakin began his career as a child member of the jizz band called the Skywalker Five... Although he looks human he is a Gamorrean, but to gain more public Watto had one droid intervene chirugically to change Anakin into a human. When Kenobi took him as an apprentice they started a galaxy wide tour. What else do you think happened in those 11 years between TPM and AOTC??? Also Anakin wears white socks under those black Jedi robes and the black boots.
