ElvisMiggell Posted November 11, 2003 Posted November 11, 2003 Okay, so it's all over, the whole trilogy has now been seen by yours truly. Initial reaction - fanblinkingtastic!!! Okay so the third, and in fact all of the films weren't particulaly high on script content, but graphically they were an incredible set. And most importantly, they were FUN! Along with LOTR, these are the films I've talked about most after having seen them, and for me, that's what makes a film great. Only half the enjoyment comes from watching it, the other half comes from picking minor points and weaknesses to pieces with mates. I know a lot of people think the the first film was severely let down by the other two, and a lot of people think the end of Revolutions is crap, but I loved every minute of it. Well, apart from the Zion dance scene in Reloaded, what was all that about?!? Opinions! Go on, argue!!! (But play nice now children! ) Elvismiggell. I hate to agree with the critics, but it should have been 1 last movie.. not 2. There just wasn't enough content for the 3rd one to pull through. Revolutions itself- great action and music, but does little to actually satisfy or answer the questions. They knew that some of them were about to die, so they put up a giant party to celebrate the here and now.
