Hi. I was wondering if anyone had a working link to SWRDE? Working on Windows 7, and RebEd is doing its non-compatibility thing.

 

Any help acquiring this little gem would be appreciated. Thanks!

Well, you welcome. Notice they're not all the same edition...

I noticed. My only problem now is that no matter the edition used is that the AI value does not stay saved even if I manually save it each time it will just revert once reopened or reselected in SWRDE. Oh well I have all the ship values updated to as close as I can figure out and balenced the costs vs str/survivability and it apears pretty decent. Play testing it a few times to see if I have it right then going to play some full hard games to really try it.

Can't help you, I never used-it myself. RebEd just better for me, along with Ressource Hacker.

For using Rebed in Windows 7 your best bet is to set up a virtual machine load XP do all your editing then simply copy all the files over to your Win 7 directory. Hope that helps.
