I think if you just keep clicking it tends to go a lil bit faster, i think you can cut off whichever droid is speaking and then immediately turn off the advice so they shut up permanently!

It is possible, depending on your display drivers, DirectX and Windows version, that the ESC keys do not register while C-3PO is talking. I've had this happen on one computer running Windows 2000, it can't skip through the intro talking.. while my other computer running 2000 can skip through it just fine.

I've not found a way to fix this, but perhaps updating your display drivers will do the trick.

I can't skip the intro either. Like Evaders, I have thos problem only since I have new OS. I couldn't fix that, and it's very disturbing in case, when you just want to test something edited in Rebed...

THANK YOU EVADERS!

This has bugged me for years now, when I first started on Windows 98 I could skip the intro, I hadn't made the connection when I switched to Windows 2000 Pro!

Woo to you sir! :)

I always right click the game speed setting to put the game on slow for that first day. Whenever I do that IM22 ends his briefing with a huffy "as you wish".

Clicking on 3PO always worked for me and I've had the game installed on 7 computers over the years 8)
