Supremacy (Rebellion) on Vista Home Premium.

Question

Ok, so on many threads people have said that they cannot play star wars on Vista, well tried some of the many download links, such as the d3drm.dll and have no clue what to do with it. As I can't extract it and can't find a folder for star wars, as it should be something like: C:\program files\lucas arts\Star wars supremacy\.

So is there anyway to get it on Vista Home Premium? And how do I find that folder?

Also, I do have an old laptop in the attic but it just takes too long finding it.

Regards,

Grant.

Copy the file to your C:\Windows\System32 directory

I don't know how your Windows is running then, unless you've installed it to a different drive letter

You could try just placing d3drm.dll into the C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Rebellion path, it may work. I don't have my Vista install handy or I would verify that for you now. Depending on the executable, it may check multiple paths looking for the first instance of the file it is looking for. In this case, simply having d3drm.dll in the applications installation directory should suffice... but again, I don't recall if that applies to Rebellion or not but you can try and give us feedback :)
