How do you create custom fleets

Can anyone explain how to create and customize fleets for the custom function in starting fleets? I am not a computer programer so can you keep it as basic and simple as you can. Thanks alot

There is a gameplay type which you can use, but it only supports 3v3 ships.

 

If you want to create real custom fleet duels, you need some basic modding skills. There's no ''easy way''.

well can u give me some info on how to create "true custom" fleets because im pretty sure it involes using notepad and changing some values to some

line of code which is pretty easy when you thin about it ive used that 2-d fighting game mugen and thats pretty much one big mod anyway... i think

so what about it can i get a little verification or am i just totally wrong
