..... explain."

With that Wedge swept into the room, followed by the Solo's and the droids.

"Hechtman, Igracen, this is going to seem a little odd, please bear with me."

With that Wedge went to a computer and promtly entered codes de-activating all the monitoring deviceces in the room.

"Okay Re'Luvis, if you'd do the honours." Said Wedge to seemingly this air.

At which point Re'Luvos and the others appeared, some with slight chuckles visible at the look on both Hechtman and Igracen's faces...

OOC: The Harmony won't be fighting until this meeting is done. :)

IC: "Perceptive Evan. Impressive, and a speedy adjustmant from you both. Men worthy of your ranks. Yes, i am Luke, and Elvis, and Re'ekan combined. I am essentially a shaping project that the Yuuzhan Vong tried that went wrong, the forcee stepped in and awakned me and showed me what needs to be done."

"And what would that be then?"

"I must, together with you and my compatriots, deefeat the Yuuzhan Vong, and stop the slaughter. The Force is the only viable solution to this problem. However, we are weary and my compatrtiots need rest. I suggest we ajourn this meeting until after the next raid?"

"Agreed." intoned both Igracen and Wedge.

OOC: How's that for a compromise. Igracen is still in charge of fleet ops btw. The next battle is yours, and though my guys won't feature in it, feel free to use our Jedi Battle Meditation. :)

OOC: No need i have this raid..We have cloaking technolagy right?

IC: The cloaked Equality came out of hyperspace around Clak'dor VII. The new improvments gave its radar the ability to function a little while cloaked. It turned on its gravity well projecters and came to the point where it could hit the decent sized vong fleet the hardest. Then it waited for a few moments. The vong were clearly building up for an attack. Present were 5 medium cruisers, 8 light cruisers, 4 dreadnoughts, a carrier, 2 destroyers to act as interdictors and numerous smaller ships. A minute for two before the rest of the rebel fleet came out of hyperspace the equality lifted its cloaking sheild and opened fire on the carrier. Stunned the carrier had no hope to recover. As the Equality continued to pound it, Shadow Wing was launched.

"Shadow wing we have 8 wings of skips out. Lets take positions to defend the Equality." They had hoped that shadow wing might have got a chance to strike at one of the capitol ships but it was no matter. Before the skips could even engage the rest of the rebels arrived. The Harmony followed by the Calm waters and 2 M80s. A host of support ships followed. A M80B and three Mon Cal light cruisers waited a moment then joined in. The vong were not as surprised by this but they had no hope to fight back and win. Enough time had been given for the vong to go after the Equality and the ships were easy targets for the rest of the fleet." Ok we've Emerald, Sapphire, and Shadow squadrons are to escort Calm Water's wing of B-wings. Everyone else into Are to go after the skips and then join up with us. The B-wings had 24 skips on their tails as Half of Shaodow wing joined up. The skips were easy targets and Evan badly damaged two."Ok Blue leader your escort is here," Evan said. "We have the three ligh cruisers going after equality. You take out skips and the middle one. We have the other two. Skips were not really a problem even with the yammosk on the planet they were harrased so badly they couldn't organize. As a result a few scattered groups were vaped by shadow wing. The light cruisers were easy targets. Shaodw squad launched proton torpedoes against the middle one and Emerald and Sapphire cleaned up. By the time the light cruisers were gone the battle was just a mop up and then the bombardment began.

"This feels wrong!" Elegaie said throought the viewport of the Persoonal-Shuttle.

Around them the Rebel Fleet slaughtered the Yuuzhan Vong warriors.

"What would you do to them? Offer them hot chocolate and talk about peace by a fire, while listening to Alderaanina relaxation chants?" Igoru asked. "No, Jedi. They have to die. And they must die thousand times over, for each life they have taken. For each Imperial they have killed."

"How many times would you need to die then?" GArth asked.

"None, because each time I kill, I dispose of one life that had been put in my hands!" Igoru said.

"You sure aren't a Vong?" Igoru asked.

"Shut up idiots," the Caamasi said.

"This is the shuttle Yavin IV, hailing Harmony, we request permission to land"

Elegaie, of course knew not why he had been ordered to abort their mission on Devaron to rendezvous with the Harmony.

"You are allowed, hangar 2-45."

Igoru lead the ship to the hangar and found a strange figure waiting for them.

It was in that moment that Elegaie knew why he had been ordered back...

OOC: Probably easiest yeah, we can do it in chunks with battle inbetween though. :)

IC:

The Harmony had made the jump to hyperspacece by now...

"Sithspawn, what are you doing here, like that?!" Exclaimed Igoru.

"Relax, i am who i appear to be, but i am not a threat to you, and i never will be, from a certain point of view."

"Don't quote me platitudes Jedi, i get enough from the decrepit Camaasi!"

"I said calm down." Said Re'Luvis, manipulating the force to shut Igoru's mouth, brining a surprised expression to Igoru's face, quickly replaced by outrage, and then something that approximated mirth.

"We're about to arrive in our next target system, get to a fighter Elegaie and Igoru. Garth, you're with me."

OOC: Cue another battle DJ44 it's all yours. :)

OOC: Oh and I have a certin 200 dreadnoughts to add to the fleet next meeting.

IC: Shadow Wing came out of the Harmony on the Equality's port. The wing of skips there were surprised and shadow wing quickly gained the upper hand. The situation was only made worse for the skips when the yammosk was destroyed by the Harmony's guns. A vong cruiser the size of a star destoyer move to engage Equality. A trio of Mon Calamari light cruisers came out of hyperspace and then the everything whent downhill for the vong cruiser. It was too ocupied to notice Shadow wing fire their proton torpedoes and it was quickly destroyed. Soon after the bombardment of Sullest began.

OOC: Sorry didn't have much time.

Guest Scathane

Scathane had arrived at Silver Station. He had taken the most direct route this time, following the Hydian Way and jumping to the Corellian Run just past Corellia. When he’d reached the Doldur sector, he was more or less at his point of rendezvous. More or less, because it took him a while finding the station again. Silver Station was a hidden resistance outpost drifting near the Dragonflower Nebula in the Doldur sector. Four hundred meters in length, it consisted of a central cube surrounded by many interconnected cylinders. Very few beings knew the station's secret location, where resistance leader Una Poot supplied seven Rebel cells in the surrounding sector. Aliens of every species could be found wandering its mazelike hallways. Silver Station was once named Machenry Station, an outpost built to mine gas from the nearby nebula. The station was eventually abandoned but was discovered by Una Poot, who added two dozen huge tanks and made the structure her base of operations. Just after the Battle of Yavin, the young heiress Tinian I'att and her companions came to Silver Station to meet with Poot. Though Tinian helped foil a Ranat plot to blow up the station, most of its inhabitants were forced to flee when Imperial forces arrived and took control of the outpost. They had left it for several decades now, for reasons unknown.

Nevertheless, after a short while, he had found the small station. He had been there before when Shanaak had shown him the abandoned but fully operational mining station. As a Togruta, Shanaak had no problem finding things such as secret base: the hollows spaces in her montrals gave her the ability of sensing thing ultrasonically. She had made it into an outpost of hers: a safe haven for contemplating action and resting, unknown to the Rebel Alliance except for Scathane. She wasn’t here now, though.

Scathane had given second thought to revealing her base to an Imperial Fleet Admiral; he didn’t like it but it was the safest place for him to meet Socl. He had made some preparations from the base, making sure the Imperial forces coming in would find misleading information in their log files if they would check them later on…

Hours went by but still no sign of Fleet Admiral Socl or any other Imperial activity. This worried him. He had been busy for hours, trying to find out more about himself but he hadn’t had much luck. He had learnt, though, that Brigadier Vosa was indeed Jaxi. They had served some time together but what he still found too strange for words was that she was listed as missing in action as well. Something must have happened to the two of them (three if you counted Velpin) and he didn’t know what. However, it now seemed nasty enough for Vosa to want him killed!

After a few hours of musing, pondering, meditating and getting nowhere, he redirected his focus to Socl. It was disturbing the man wasn’t here. If not so much that, it was the total lack of Imperial presence, which the Fleet Admiral should have sent after his message, were he not to come himself… One would almost think something bad had happened to the man.

And then he felt it! A tremendous shift in the force. Something had awoken and it was very powerful! And it wasn’t alone… but it weren’t multiple beings either… Yet, he felt more than one consciousness had awoken. He reached out to feel it… It was awesome! And suddenly it looked his way! Quickly, Scathane, or Jared Minx Solomon as he was now called, retracted his senses from the force… He felt the presence slightly brush over his but it couldn’t quite get a grip on him… He had been just in time and he hadn’t quite revealed his identity to the presence…

He knew he had to leave quickly, though…

OOC: Elvis, I would appreciate your not being all powerful and dragging me to your side of the galaxy right away…

OOC: I think I'll steal some 200 Dreadnaughts... :twisted::twisted::twisted:

IC:

Obroa-Skai contained more information than Rjivuan Shai ever imagined. The lore, the intelligence and the wisdom of more than thousand generations had been collected there. And now it was on two dozen qah'sas which Iulan and Rjiuvan had organized for the raid.

To review the immense amount of information would be nearly impossible for them. Especially if neither of them knew what they would actually were looking for. It was perhaps the will of the Force, as Iulan puts it, that Rjiuvan accross a reference to a certain deepspace encounter between a pirate crew and Imperial forces.

The summary of the encounter had been mislabeled and had ended among the info related to space legends.

Particularly the Katana fleet. The surprising element was that the information had not come from Imperial sources, but rather from a man from Pantolomin.

Iulan and Rjiuvan had commented over it. With their forces so heavily affected from the skirmish at Devaron 200 Dreadnaughts could be altered to fit in Jeedai Vong crews.

Iulan first went alone to inspect the area in his TIE Defender.

He was shocked when he saw the 200 thousand Dreadnaughts still with operational lights sailing silently in empty space.

He caressed the villip and called Rjiuvan Shai.

The crews for the ships were ready, as well as the special bacteria that would allows the yorik coral seed to grow on the Dreadnaughts and slowly become an hybrid of yorik coral and Dreadnaught.

In few hours, ans some frustrated warrior cries the Katana Fleet left its lonely grave directly for Kessel, where the bacteria would feed off the space debris and strengthen the black metallic hull.

Leaving the system Iulan noticed a small Rebel probe.

"At least they'll know who has them," Iulan muttered and decloaked his TIE in front of the probe, then hypered away.

OOC: OMG TREJ YOU IDIOT I NEED A FLEET. YOU"VE LOST WHAT ONE BATTLE THIS WHOLE TIME? YOU HAVE A HUGE FLEET ANYWAY! I WAS GOING TO HAVE A BATTLE FOR THEM. WHAT THE HECK IS THE POINT OF THIS IF YOU WIN EVERY DARN BATTLE. MY FLEET GETS POUNDED EVERY BATTLE. MEANWHILE YOU BLOW UP 17 STAR DESTROYERS AT KUAT AND AN ECLIPSE STAR DESTROYER AND LOSE WHAT? 5 SHIPS? NOW YOu HAVE 200 DREANOUGHTS. YOU HAVE TO STEAL MY IDEA! I THINK I'M GONNA QUIT THIS RETEADED RPG....

OOC: First, ADarkJedi44, measure yourself. This forums aren't for calling each other "IDIOT". Second, who's the "idiot"? I wasn't the one who wrote ahead what my plans are. I have some ideas and plans for the chars I'm controlling and I hardly give an advance of them. I'll give you an advance... I have lost one battle until now but I''m still planning to lose EVERYTHING! I don't have a huge fleet, I lost too much at Devaron! But, I have enough imagination to come up with resources for my faction.

You were going to have a battle for them? You can have battles for lots of other stuff. You might even battle for recovering Druckenwell that has the primary factories for troop armor in the galaxy (Ground campaign should ring in your head). You might battle for Fondor or Thyferra.

And if you managed to get the Harmony... Why couldn't you get more ships from somewhere else? No one just makes one of each vessel.

Of course, you can also quit this "RETEADED RPG", but then the "RETEADED" would be you because you are going to be the one that leaves. And I still get away with my stealing the Katana Fleet.

I'll give you two tips. One is think your story over over a cup of hot chocolate, or tea or coffee. And the second is: What can be stolen once, can be stole twice. Of course timing would be yours.. But again... you might want them with all the pertinent Jeedai Vong addons... And those should eb finished by the time I get back from Mexico...

Feel free to e-mail or PM me, if you have anything to say. Despite your energetic response I'm not angry at you, nor do I hold you any hard feelings.

OOC: With this settled I'd ask Elvis or Scath to use their supermoderator powers and delete those OOC posts.

IC:

Another day had passed by. Minutes, hours, days they all seemed so insignificant now. It seemed to him that the war had entered another stage. With the galaxy torn so badly, there couldn't be possibly a way to continue waging war as carelessly as they had in the first year.

Their galactic map showed what was known to everyone. A galaxy that had been destroyed by war. The blaze bugs glowed with different colors, all of them scattered across the map. There wasn't a single solid block in the galaxy.

The invading Yuuzhan Vong, led by the Supreme Overlord controlled the systems along his invasion route. But despite the desperate and careless advance of the past weeks, the Yuuzhan Vong had lots of internal troubles and the guerrilla wars of the Rebel Alliance and some Imperial fleets within their space.

The Rebellion had lost much of their systems in the Outer Rim, they controlled some very few planets with shipbuilding capacity and they had to care for other systems that had been harassed by the Yuuzhan Vong. Slowly came the first results of their way to lead the war. Devaron and Sullust spoke for the ability of the Rebels to wage war.

The Empire had lost much, far too much. It had been reduced to the Core of the galaxy and some scattered sectors near Yaga Minor. Their truce with the Rebel Alliance had not fructified too much. There were still differences between both factions. More important, though, was the fact that the Imperial Military lacked a leader. Evaders was just a tyrant sitting in his throne of bloodied skulls on Coruscant, and with Fleet Admiral Socl lost on some errand, the Empire could not hold its ground if another Yuuzhan Vong campaign attacked the Core.

And there were Iulan and Rjiuvan's Jeedai Vong now considerably weakened after Devaron. At least the Katana Fleet should help us for a while But the Katana Dreadnaughts still had to undergo numerous changes and repairs before they could see battle. Their shipyards are Kessel were still working on those 200 ships. As for the crews... There weren't enough warriors to actually crew the Dreadnaughts, and the Jeedai Vong had no means to recruit soldiers and breeding a new generation would take too long. It was up to the shapers to come up with a solution for that problem.

There would be lots of volunteers to battle the Yuuzhan Vong and the Empire, but few would trust us, and none would fight side by side with a Jeedai Vong.

"It is our doom to continue this war, Rjiuvan," Iulan said. Still looking at the colorful array.

"We accepted the risk, my Lord, it is better to die honorably than die serving an impostor."

I apprecaite your faith in me, my friend. But in the end, I might be the impostor, and you might die for me.

"Caamas, and Yun-Kar'Dah, and Kessel provide enough resources for our battles against the Empire, and Obroa-Skai has provided us with knowledge."

At the mention of Obroa-Skai Iulan's thoughts raced. There were still other colorful stars in their map. Neutral worlds. But would any of them even provide some minor assistance to the Jeedai Vong. Could the wannabe Jedi and the Warmaster draw neutral worlds to their cause. At Devaron Iulan and Rjiuvan had made it clear that they were being hunted and destroyed by the Yuuzhan Vong.

"We cannot stand alone in this war," Iulan murmured.

"Who will aid us?" Rjiuvan asked.

"I do not know." Iulan sadly said.

"Does the Force know?" Rjiuvan asked again, forcing Iulan to draw on the insight of the Force. "Perhaps," Iulan answered. Yyyyyyyaaaaaavn, a voice echoed in his head.

He looked at the map.

Yavin was in the far in the Outer Rim, in the corner of the galaxy that had still remained unaffected by the invasion. A region that was unimportant. Wild Space.

Yavin.... But Yavin was still near enough to Yaga Minor and the Satirnaynian system.

Yavin. The planet called to him.

"What do you seek at Yavn?" Rjiuvan asked.

Iulan blinked. Lost in his thoughts he had advanced into the swarms of blaze bugs and had stopped just before the little bug that glowed indicating the location of Yavin IV.

"Answers," Iulan said.

"To go to Yavin we would need a week at least, ten day is more likely." Rjiuvan reported.

"We still have battles in the Core."

"Those battle bring us no closer to the solution of a war. Your peregrination to Yavn does." Rjiuvan finished. Teh way he spoke Yavn echoed in Iulor Graa'Ndad's last words... Could it be, master, that you speak through the mouth of my friend and mentor?

"We will go, then, my friend."

"We will, my Lord."

The preparations began. A direct course could take them to Yavin in few days, but they hadn't planned to take the most direct course, they had established a small course that would bring them close enough to some Imperial worlds in the Mid Rim, and from there to the Inner Rim, and then with an unsteady advance they would arrive at Yaga Minor, and from there to Yavn... Hopefully to find the answers for his questions...

OOC: Okay I won't be around for ten days or so... so there go my chars. Feel free to use Elegaie, one thing though, don't make him manipulate the Force too much...

Guest Admiral_Antilles

OOC: Due to my absence and my last chars likeness to Wedge. So my new char is Grand Admiral Hawk, Supreme Commander of the Rebel Alliance Fleet.

It was dark and empty, space. Grand Admiral Hawk never could look out side the viewport on the bridge of his ship the Wonderous with out feeling small and helpless.

In this war so many had died to the Alien race, that is the Yuuzhan Vong. Whole fleets destroyed by their different technology, planets once sprawling with life, oblitereated wastelands. It all alomost seemed hopeless for awhile. But there was a turn in the tide the last few months, Former Admiral, Ackbar has created a truly genious strategy that had turn the tide, the New Republic had finnaly started to beat their hideous enemies. But Grand Admiral Hawk knew it was far from over.

"Lieutanant, status report on the enemie's location." he said.

"Still unknown Admiral, but Blue Wing reports their scouting has uncovered something. We are still waiting on details sir, but it seems to be a dead ship, perhaps from a previous battle." The competent Lieutanant said.

"Very Good, Lieutanant, keep me posted on further developments." The Admiral said.

"Yes Sir! He said with a salute and sat back down at his console."

Sitting there, the Admiral began thinking to himself.

Surely it could not...No---I refuse to belive it! There is no way! No way, that project could have lasted this long! But if it did....He shoved the thought out of his mind. I must contact Admiral Igracen, I must see if he knows.... His thoughts were interrupted by the Comm Officer.

"Sir, I have Starfighter Command on channel 8 as requested."

"Thank you, patch it into my office, I will get it there." Hawk said.

"Yes, sir, patching through now."

Getting up from his chair he began walking down the all too familiar corridors leading up to his office. He then sat down at his desk and flicked to life the console.

"Admiral Hawk here, Command." he said

"Hello Admiral" said General Genova. "I also have with me Counselor Hova and Commander Sade.

"Hello, I sent you the information, have you received it?" Hawk said.

"Yes, Admiral it is all here. I still cannot believe it myself though. How could the Noghri have had the resources to build it though? I thought they were uncivilized killing race, not engineers to have rivaled the best we have to offer." said the General

"I understand your speculation, General. I myself was too until I checked my sources. I assure you it is all true." Hawk said uneasily.

"You mean the Noghri have built a Superweapon and you all are debating to use it, when the logical course is we could destroy the Vong now!" the counselor spat from Kuat.

"Calm down Senator, this is a delicate situation which must take the most delicate steps to insure safety with the fatal weapon." The General said.

"I agree with the Counselor, General. We must strike soon, but perhaps with some more precautions than the counselor here wishes." said the commander.

Excuse me gentlemen...said Hawk.

The Chariot of God moved away from the perimeter of the Ubiqtorate base at Yaga Minor. The base was by far one of the most heavily fortified world this side of space, it had been considered since the times of the Old Republic as the gate to Wild Space and to the Unknown Regions. With that status came, of course, a strong defense fleet.

Two Victory Star Destroyers and numerous other smaller craft like Corellian Corvettes and Nebulon Frigates.

Despite the recurrent mistakes of the Imperial commander, the defenders proved quite capable of holding off the Jeedai Vong fleet. From the many hangars of the Ubiqtorate many shuttles departed, most of them naturally remote controlled, which lead Iulan to believe that he and Rjiuvan had happened to find someone important on the Ubiqtorate.

It was the chaos of the many decoy shuttles that stopped the attack.

The interference of some of the frequencies of the remotecontrolled shuttles disturbed the yammosk. Through the Force Iulan could feel the struggle of the yammosk that tried to communicate with the coralskippers despite the interference.

Rjiuvan uttered one of his common battlecurses. If the Empire discovered the secret of their communication, they would be very vulnerable.

"The Victory Destoyers are retreating back to the base." Iulan noted.

"It was folly of them to attack first, it cost them numerous support craft." Rjiuvan answered.

"It may have been related to the Shuttle event." Iulan finished.

"Or Imperial stupidity..." Rjiuvan said.

The battle entered a slower stage.

The Chariot and its two escort cruiser could not handle the turbolaser defense of the base and the two Vics. And the Imperials couldn't hold in that position forever.

Iulan knew that there was a weakness in the design of the Ubiqtorate base. Something that called to him from his Rebel days. Although he hadn't been to Yaga Minor, (he had been at Satirnaynia), he had been briefed about the Yagai system as well.

Elvis's distant voice seemed to speak to him from the past. The impressions of the briefing came from the Force.

Iulan looked at the base again. He now knew the answer to the problem planted by the Imperial defenders.

The Ubiqtorate had been reduced to space dust. The empty hulls of the two Victory Destroyers complete the desvastated scene in orbit of the Yagai world.

The compact and strong Jeedai Vong fleet sailed away from the debris and the shipyards. It's last destination before Yavn was a small return to the Imperial sector capital of Satirnaynia.

Just before their entry to hyperspace there was a flicker in the space around him. As if an Imperial ship decloaked.

Interesting.

Whatever it was, Iulan was certain they would find out at Satirnaynia.

  • 4 weeks later...

Evahe Litok looked around the freighter. She was a modified Yt-2200. heavilymodified. She had even been given a cloaking generator. He look at his band of mercenaries. The 5 of them stood at attention knowing the dnager they were facing. "Alright we're almost to out target. Night Shadow bring us in throught the docking bay. That dreadnought shoudn't be too vongy yet. Nor should she have a powerful crew." Evahe was right on on both accounts. They uncloaked and landed with minimal trouble. They tore through the few defenders. With no time at all they were at the bridge. Night Shadow's excellant skills with his flamethrower and Evahe's talent at fighting unarmed insured that the group had no casulties. "Ok lets get out of here," Evahe said. "Sir you might want to take a look at this," Night said sounding shocked. Evahe looked at the name plate. He gaped at it, rubbed his eyes , pinched himself but it was still there. "SITHSPIT!" It read Katana.....

OOC: Now that i get the chance just a little info on my "gang."

IC:The leaping Rancors was a group established by Evahe Litok to protect the galaxy to a certain extent. Althought they were establishedto fight the empire they adapted to fighting the Yuuzhan Vong. Most of its members were mercenaries in it for credits but Evahe didn't mind. With the Yuuzhan Vong entering the galaxy the group grew rapidly. It concentrated on raiding the Peace Brigade for their supplies and setting up resistance cells on Vong controlled worlds.

"The slave rig system can't be used from this far away and it will most likely not work on vong dreadnoughts. But it would be useful to use against those not yet contaminated with vong bio-technology,"Evahe said sounding excited
