Re: How do I add a track animation on one vehicle?

Recommended Posts

Thats in the code SI, you also have to place the treads int he actual model for the thing to work. For example - look at any unit in EAW that uses tracks, and look for some thing that say "Tread" you should find one for left and right. They are what you add to the model ;)

Yes I have tested that you only need it.

-Tracks must be single objects.

-You must name one as "tread_R" (track right) and "tread_L" (track left).

-Use the track skin from one tank as T4B or Tie Crawler.

-Use this code on groundvehicle.xml .

0.12

Generic_Track_Half

-And to end one tip, how do you create one vehicle with three or four tracks? is very simple join two tracks as a single object with compoun objetcs create boolean, select union, pick object and now you will have only one object from two objects.

-Remember the key is the object names.
