hmm right. how do you give credits to work that you have ported from another game ? that why its been reported. Please read the whole thread before assuming this is "just a fight".

 

He has been porting models and textures from games like Battle front and claiming them as his own that is "authorship" of a model he has ported. Then redistributing them in his mods. This is a question of copyright and assets being stolen from one game and being used in another. This is illegal. I highly doubt he sought permission for porting the models from Battlefront.

Look, Nomada, you really should just leave. You made a big mistake talking the way you have done to respected members of the community, such as Dr. Nick and JC. How can you not see what you have done is illegal. There are few people around here that trust your word over everyone elses, and the majority of the people whjo do trust your word more are idiots. I am glad JC told Lucasarts about this, as they will prove to you that it is illegal.

 

Also, I must say you are being very hippocritical. You ask everyone for proof that porting is illegal, and we give it to you. But when we ask you for proof that you have permission to use models, you say to trust your word - News Just In: WE DON'T!

 

You seem to be unable to listen to what we have told you. We have given you proof, yet you have refused to listen to it. Your in deep shit now, as lucasarts will probably come down on you and stop your mod.

1. I didn't know Bf2 had a UT-AT model. It has an AT-TE and AT-RT, but not a UT-AT.

 

Which of these models can be legally used and which can't? I'm a bit confused.

You are incorrect, I joined OMG because I did not know OMG forum and I like see all forums to find new good things.

 

I knew the other UTAT. A bit different from the DooFi UTAT.

 

And if you want know the Alliance mod continue and I have added two Clone War conflicts and maintained the Episode IV, V, VI and New Republic war conflicts without problems.

 

And there are more, underworld is now the Sol Negro (Black Sun). Other things are new units as XTie, YTie (I do not know the real name on english but on spain they are "feos"), TIE Bomb (a suicide TIE Droid), Demolisher and Enforcer both from Eviljedi, the Demolisher is some as a Broadside but as a Cruiser and a fighter hangar bay. Other changes are a Executor with more weapons and more power, the original Eviljedi white skin on the Implacable, the Inmovilizer 418 from Eviljedi, rockets added to the Broadside, changes and more weapons on original underworld ships, a suicide Droid nebulon B Frigate on Black Sun, one turret on the CIS MAF, one ATAT MKII, the MKI and the MKII have four turret weapons, two main guns and two smaller guns, one SHPT artillery, a LAFT (it is a republic gunship more as a fighter as we saw on galactic battlegrounds), and many more small changes on weapons, abilities, skins, different types of the same units and many more. And I have changed the Lancer main weapon by one flamethower. M2 tank has a turret with a secondary flamethower weapon. One combat rebel speeder a bit different from the empire combat speeder, one Seraph Class speeder (we saw it on Naboo forces from Episode I) and I´m working on one TX-130S tank.

 

I wait end all this on autumn.

 

If you want, I can send you some new units by email or better try upload them on filefront eaw files (I never have tried it but I think that I can add some models).

 

Ah I have not done changes on the UTAT by the moment.

Omega Modding Group is designed for modders. Some of the people who have joined the group feel as I do about sharing resources. Of course the group has it rules as does any kind of community. We are not a mod group - but a collective of modders sharing materials.

 

When you joined this group - as you can imagine I was rightly confused about it - considering your recent arguments with me and others on here who are all members in OMG. The web site to which you joined I am one of the Admins there.

 

There are two member group level Standard members, and OMG Group member - this one is for modders, riggers, and Mod Leaders.
