darth_ramoth Posted July 31, 2003 Share Posted July 31, 2003 hey all, just a quick question re death star 2, i was wondering if anyone out there in SWR land knows or is willing to estimate how complete was the 2nd DS was to completion? im going to estimate a 66% percent but im shocking at estimating things like this, the reason i would like to know is im in the process of designing a new DS2 card and would like to get it as close as possible to the real thing. ive paid a visit to starwars.com and got the info off there which included total weapon numbers if completed, but the amount of weaponary on this thing is huge (so far the ion cannon has the least amount of turrets on any side at 1250 turrets, laser cannons are 1875, and turbo turrets are 7500. All figures are for each side). Also im wondering if anyone knows on how to change the recharge rate of the superlaser as i would like to (if possible) tweak this in line with the the new card. Remember it was only being shielded by a planetary shield, and none of the lasers seen actually fire... so i'm guessing things like fire control weren't done either. Nor tractor beams. I also will mention that I thought the Emperor told Luke that the station was fully operational. He could have been talking about the death ray.
