Deorientate the site make it the Multi games site that we need it to be. Diversify the topics. Merge the EAW group with the Games area group. and as much as it pains me to say it make a special Star wars area then de-Star Wars the rest of the Forums. encourage everyone who comes here to advertise the Multi gameness of the Forum. i know that these are some what extreme measures but if we are to save the Forum then they must be done. It MUST be done to save this Forum from the inevitable decline and death, that we can see coming. ok the structural changes that maybe nessecary- EAW+UAW+ Petro Devs Down to one sub section (FOsh doing anyway later today)Holonet News renamed. + cleaned up to be less Petro yay. plus add all hosted games news to it. E.g. when new vids are out (like we did with EAW/FOC)Games Arena Moved to top and EMPHASISED! SCI-FI universe stays but we gain say a Fantasy and general sub section as well. Modding Area gets diversified to more than just M2:TW and EAW/FOCJedi Mastering Labs renamed from the Star Wars name. Merge Star Wars orientated topics into the Star Wars Libary. these changes may take a long time but as ive said i believe they are need to save the forums. Star Wars Man Posted February 13, 2007 Share Posted February 13, 2007 Ahhh....I remember the days where we had only, like, 20 members and everything was "ZOMG E@W IS TEH BESTEST GAME EVAR!!111!1" Now, we are having to fight for our forum's life. Seems strange, seeing as a year ago we were in Hog Heaven. Now, we have to restructure to survive. Is this a new stage in PFF Evolution? Aer we doomed for a life of enslavement? I don't really have any answers. As a matter of fact, I quit modding E@W & FoC when I moved to the new computer due to the fact that I lost 95% of all my good coding in the move. It seems as though PFF will need to evolve, to morph into something new, in order to make it. Anywho...we need these changes. I voted "right away" because I think we should at least start them now so that we don't get into the habit of procrastination. On a side note: Are there any games we haven't voted on yet that you would like to? Edit: I just noticed that I think the Fan-Fiction forum is way too hidden. It already has some troubles in posting, and now when no one knows where it is, it is doomed. Putting it back where it was, but changing the description to get it away from SW and more generic would work. Protecting the world from those who have an IQ higher than 30! Huzzah!
